Who does a good Exhibition?

We are thinking about having someone(s) at our Annual League Championship Weekend next June/July to put on an exhibition. We're not sure if we want an instructional or trick shot exhibition or both.

Who is close to the St. Louis/Metro East area that you would recommend, both trick shot and instructional?

Just taking a census to see who you guys/gals have seen or hosted!

Mark Wilson, Jeanette Lee, Sarah Rousey, Landon Shuffett are a few that I can think of off the top of my head that are in the mid-west. Keep in mind the audiance is pretty much all amateur league players.

Thanks,
Zim

Always entertaining is Tom Rossman. "Dr. Cue" From what I hear, he is very reasonably priced and I know he is very entertaining and informative. He's from Indiana so he isn't too far away. I've seen him perform probably 20 times over the years and he is always fun to watch. He comes through this area at least once a year for different reasons and the players just love him. Look into it. You won't be disappointed.

I would try Tom "Dr. Cue" Rossman.

His exhibition is a combination trick shot and instructional.

And the guy is a hoot! Boy, does he get excited.

After seeing his show, someone who has never held a cue will be running to grab one.

We (Iowa State Poolplayers Association) have used Tom Rossman (Dr. Cue), Mark Wilson, Mike Masse and a few others in the past. I can recomment all of them. They are all quite knowledgible and very entertaining.

I just attended the Legends of Pool Exhibition and Pool School with Johnny Archer and Earl Strickland. That was worth the price to me and I am in the process of negotiating a deal with them to attend our tournament next year. We haven't gotten into the details much yet, but i think that would be a great value for our players as well as the Legends themselves.

Good luck with whomever you choose.

Exhibition.......

We have had Nick Varner out here a few times and he does some trick shots and challenge matches. Then he will answer any and all questions that the onlookers ask. He is a great guy and very pleasant to everybody. I would highly recommend him.

I've seen Dr. Cue's show in the past and it is a good one! However, he was just here a few months ago and I'm looking for something a little different, not degrading him, just don't want to repeat.

Danny Deiters and I just went to Decatur, IL last weekend to see Archer and Strickland's exhibition... well worth what they charge, plus they do a pool school the next day!

Keep the ideas coming!

I just realized that we met briefly. As you could see I was a little tied up with one thing or another. I am sorry I didn't spend much time talking with you but I have enjoyed our chats. Please keep us in mind. I had made a note to myself to make sure that I visited with you for a while and just got lost in the night. You have all my numbers etc please stay in touch either way,
Mark,

I understand Lori Jon has a great show...and Ewa is a crowd pleaser as well.

You also should talk to . . .

our own Scott Lee from right here on AZ . . . great person, great teacher, and from what I've heard puts on a great exhibition as well. I believe he lives/works out of Michigan.

What about Jamison Neu isn't He Mr. Masse!!!!! I love his table eye shot. and didn't he have some training from Harry Sims????????

Who

Well i can say that i have had 2 and they were paul gurnie, eric yow and both were great!!!coin toss as who was the beter as they both put on a good show. STICK:grin-square:

exibitions

the two best i've seen were Steve Mizerak and Mike Massey. the one guy's not available.

If you don't want Dr. Cue for this one, I'd have to suggest Mike Masse. I've seen his show many times, and it's always entertaining. He's always friendly to everyone. But I think Dr. Cue has a great way of adding teaching along with the trick shot stuff. Both are absolutely fabulous for the sport.

Thanks Deep Banks! Yes, I've been doing a lot of exhibitions, all over the country, mostly in the college market, for the past 14 years...but I'm comfortable performing for anyone!
