jazz,,,nippon,,,,maybe "glove' was a poor choice of words. i simply mean "smooth" a,,,,as opposed to embossed or snake or whatever.....because i thought i've seen smooth leathers used by ernie?

maybe i should contact tiger and see what nrowns they have.

For a smooth leather wrap, there is no better than Stack Leather! Our turnaround time is only a few days.

Gimme a call 800-5-TIGER-5.

not yet :) thanks for asking. it may turn into,,who's got time for me. i don't like my cues being out of my hands for a long time:):):)

By the way, Stack Leather wraps are dyed to match any color you like.

If you email me a pic of your cue, I might have a few samples to email you.

Lizard Wrap

I sent my Bender cue to Mike Webb to replace the linen wrap with a Black Lizard wrap. I received the cue yesterday and when I inspected the wrap I was pleased to see that all the reviews that have been posted to the AZB forum have guided me to make a good choice.

The wrap is perfect!
It exceeded my expectations and the seam is only visible (under magnification of course) because of the change in patterns.
Great work and I will be gladly sending any additional repair work to Mike Webb.
Thanks again to all for the recommendations and to Mike where Quality Is His First Objective.

Now to go out and show off the ebony cue with the black wrap - what a beauty she is.

Post some pics if you can.
That is quite the combination of Mike Bender and Mike Webb.

I have seen a few Searing leather wraps and i am having him put one on my TITLESt he is rebuilding for me. None better. Its hard to see the seam on his work. A true master.

PAt
I second that. The leather wrap on my searing is sweet. Great feel and the seam is practically invisible. I've got 1 of his shafts mated to my TAD that feels real nice. Is there anything this man puts out that isn't top notch?!
