Who Has Run 5 Racks Or More

9-ball: 5 pack in practise, 3 in tournament. (Have done 4 in a row, missed an easy 4 - 9 combination, the opponent missed the 4, I ran the table and 4 more, so should have a 9-pack!!!)

8-ball: 3 pack in practise and tournament

As you can see, I play 9-ball most...

By the way, started to play snooker on pooltable today! Wow, that was cool! Made 108, 93, 89 and 71 in 7 frames!!! :D

Highest break in snooker on snookertable: 49 (without using the black, was in a cluster)

Straightpool: 38.......... I never play that game, and when I do I always feel like a beginner... But it's great when you get started. (Have got high average in matches to 125 very often, but I can never beat that 38...)

Highest runs

nine-ball: 7 racks (opponent was dry on the break in the first, which I then ran out and proceeded to brake and run the next seven full racks, so maybe 7.5)

eight-ball: 7 racks

straight pool: 84

snooker: 128

Nothing too spectacular, but there is always room to improve if I can ever get my concentration back.

I've run 5 in practice a few times and 5 1/2 in competition once. I was behind 6-3 in a race to seven for $100 and my opponent was at the table with an easy four ball run to win the set. For some reason, call it nerves, overconfidence or what ever, he missed a relative easy six ball. The next time he came to the table, the score was 2-0 in the next set (I won the flip). It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. One of my boys told me later that while I was running the racks, the guy was saying over and over, "I can't believe it--this S.O.B. is running out the set on me!"

I ran a six-pack down the hall to my friends apartment the other day. It exploded when I opened it.

Well sh!t, now your talking my language. I did that with a 12 pack once. Does that count?

in 9-ball big table gamblin i have done a 7 pack, done many 4-5 packs. in 8 ball i have done many 4-5's but the most was a 8 pack( i got really really lucky on several racks there...LOL.)

Question: Do you have a perfect pattern to run racks?

Just notice this tread started over a year ago..

Now may I ask who can run 3 perfect racks of the following pattern back to back and have a video to proove it:

my accomplishments...

i once ran 27 racks in a row (of 1 ball)...
ran 19 in a row of 2 ball...
and 16 in a row of 15 ball on a 6 X 12 snooker table with regular pool balls

(i just find it funny that EVERYONE on this board has apparently run a 5 pack or better... i wasnt aware there were so many "A" players sitting around this board)

seriously... i have run a 6 pack once in my life... 2 years ago in a tournament i was down 8-2 in a tournament... my opponent dogged a semi tough 8 ball... i got out and ran out the set... (it was funny because after it was over my opponent told me if he knew it was going to cost him the set he would have concentrated harded)... thats the only time in my life ive done it...

i have run several 2's and 3's and a couple 4's... but not anything note worthy...

It's only funny because you're somehow equating a poster's best run, when the stars aligned to their actual skill level. I doubt anyone else is doing that.

The one time I had a 6-pack in 9-ball on a 9' table was over a decade ago. And I'm a much better player today than I was back then. And I'm no 'A' player.

I managed a 3-pack (9- ball) on Thursday against my buddy. The first was a golden break though. Not overly impressive but I've only been playing 9-ball for about a month, & then only once a week at best. I'm still getting back into pool after 12 years out. I'd play every day if I could but alas the funds do not permit it.

Maybe 3 in 8-ball, I'm really not sure & best of 59 in snooker (league game.)

9 racks on a gold crown with standard pockets, 9 racks on a bar table with a big cue ball. 2 1/2 break and run racks playing 1 pocket and had a chance to run the third and dogged it. I have ran out playing snooker with 6 reds.

When I first got into pool (a few months into it) I matched up with this kid who played about my speed back then (we couldn't run more than 3 balls). $20 a game. I win the coin-flip...
Break, make the 9
Break, make the 9
Break, make the 9
Break, make the 9
Break, make the 9

I made 5 9's off the break, in a row... The kid quits. I made $120 for breaking. The kid wasn't even mad, he was just amazed, thought I knew how to do it intentionally.

I also broke the 8-ball (playing 8ball) 3 times in a row, but on the 3rd time I scratched the cue ball.

My break = the NUTS!
