hey there all, i have an idea for a cue. it would be curly maple fore arm with 4 ebony points. the veneers would be black/charcoal/silver/bleached white. from outside in. with the veneers being almost like a gray scale to white im wondering what it would look like. any kind of photos would be great assistance thanks!

here is a crappy mspaint mashup of a computerized version of what im looking to see if someone else has done and took pictures of.

Looks sharp. That would also look good with other colors shaded dark to light. Greens, violets, blues, etc.

Not only does it work in one color but it can also be used to bend around the color chart.

Sounds great, but you have to wear black and gray while using it, and you can only shoot at the 8-ball . . .

lol thanks for the support of the idea. im worried that the colors might bleed together and look like one huge black veneer against a black point. unless of course the veneers were some what metallic maybe? and how many veneers on that flame cue? the point is the size of a toothpick !

id like to have a cue made with curly maple forearm, ebony points, and 4 veneers, colors being outside to in, black/charcoal/silver/bleached white. please pm with info whomever is interested :) thx!

Inexpensive? I don't think so. Anytime you get a maker to cut in points and veneers, it isn't going to be cheap.

Myself, I do like the look of your veneer selection so I would just go ahead and have the cue made. After the maker has the veneers in hand, he could send you a picture of what they look like stacked together to give you a better idea. Then you have the option of changing your mind on colors.

I think the cue would look very nice. Sometimes ya just gotta go with it and take a chance.

wondering how much it would cost to have an inexpensive as possible cue made with these veneers just so i can get an in hand visual? anybody interested

I would delete this comment and rephrase as follows or possibly start a new thread:

I am interested if having a cue with(insert desires)made and would appreciate anyone that could PM me with a price.

Anytime you use "inexpensive as possible", the desire to take the time to work up an estimate and contact you drops..........dramatically.
