Who is expected to play in the 10 ball

Does anybody know who this player is?

NOPE. That's not RG. Pretty sure that's Jeff DeLuna. One of the few 'Pinoys that's a lefty.

My apologies. Getting old-No 'been old' is better descriptor. Unlike many of the prominent and never-wrong posters on here-I will admit a mistake and not just quietly slink away.

I think you’re being a little too harsh on yourself.
....but, surmising from your choice of AZ names, you probably often are.
:)

Pretty weak turnout, only 32 players showed up? Definitely some top talent. Hard to stretch it out over 4 days

Weak turnout but strong field. The only ones missing are the Taiwanese. SVB vs Filler in Round One!

I believe there are 41 players. Still a relatively small field for a "major" tournament.

Good to hear Daz's voice on the Stream. I hope whatever made him go invisible is over and solved positively. He isn't perfect but a darn good guy imho.

I bought the stream because 1. There are some killers in this field and some inevitably good matches and 2. The stream quality is going to be good. However, 41 players is a crazy low turnout and it sucks to see that. It seems they get less players at every event. It seems crazy that guys aren't playing after all we've heard about lack of good tournaments, especially big table events, on American soil. It has to be due to the fact that these are in NYC with crazy high expenses. Too bad we can't get a tournament like that here in the midwest where it's easily accessible and expenses would be cheaper.

10 of the 41 are from the USA.

5 of the 10 are in FargoRate's top 100 USA players: SVB #1, Wilkie #32, Lombardo #63, Korsiak #64, and Robles #70.

In other words, only 1 of FargoRate's top 31 USA players is in the event.

I hoped Daz would have big success with this series but i guess most of the USA players are realizing they are dead money VS the Euros. Without the dead money i doubt this will continue to be held in the USA.
