Having a good woman in your life can do a lot of things. It can give you new motivation and new hope in life.
My woman made me a good reader, now I read books. I thought I would never like it. But, after she told me to stop playing pool, sold my cues to get her some jewellery I was kinda introduced to world of books. I also read a lot of pool books, now I can say I "theoretically" know how to make every shot and it's all because of her.
Some of you may think that she is bad for me, but that's not the case. When she is not high on meth she is wonderful. I don't think her last rehab helped her a lot. I guess she likes to party a little, cuz my neighbors tell me that they see guys coming in n out of my house all the time when i am not at home. But that's okay, cuz I would rather have her at home then out driving, cuz she already has 5 DUI's and she owe money to her x-bf who just happens to be a gang member.
I know she is an amazing woman, and she is a fighter too. I can tell by the way she punches me sometimes when I forget to feed one of her 5 cats. I am not a cat hater, it's just that between cleaning the house, making supper, doing two jobs and making sure that she not trying to cook meth I sometimes forget to feed the cats. I can't wait for her 3 kids to grow up, so that they can take care of cats. Sometimes I feel sorry for her kids, cuz they will never know who their dad was. I would also like to meet those 3 men just to see how stupid they can be to leave a wonderful woman like her.
I am truly blessed, and I feel lucky to have her in my life. For those of you who want to see how amazing my life is here is video of her coming home after 6 months of incarceration: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
You know, pool players in relationships seem to immediately gain another gear in pool competitions. Behind every good male pro is a good woman. I've seen it happen with Ralf Souquet and others. Chris is lucky love and just might be lucky in pool this year. :lovies:
From the matches you have seen so far, who do you think will win?
Based on emotion and favorite player, who do you want to win?
I think the finals will be Warren or Rodney or Johnny v. Earl. I think Earl is going to get there this year. He's been on a high since his new agent entered his life (again). He always did love this agent, probably still does. It might be the fuel that is making Earl's pool engine run so fine this year. :grin-loving:
The player I want to win? I can't pick just one, but I like Brandon Shuff,Shannon Daulton, and Chris Bartram. In fact, if any one of these three wins the U.S. Open this year, it will be a time for celebration.
Who doesn't love Tommy Kennedy? This kid is always a winner. If he snatched his second title, it would be so cool.
Sorry to see Monica Webb get beat by Karl Boyle and put on the B side of the charts. Karl is the one to watch this year. He's hitting 'em strong. Monica, however, is still in this race to the finish.
Who will it be? Time will tell. . . .
I've always been an Earl fan. If Efren was Superman, I think Earl is his kryptonite.
I'm also hoping for either Lee Van, SVB or Toastie in the finals (to play Earl)
I mentioned this in another thread, but I really think it's going to be Shane and Corteza in the finals with Shane coming out on top 13-9 (I'm assuming the finals are a race to 13 again)
