Are we talking just 9 ball/10 ball or all-around?

9 ball/10 ball: Orcullo, Pagulayan, Yang

all-around: Pagulayan, Reyes, Schmidt, Harriman
 
Alex Pagulayan is the best player on the planet in my opinion. He isn't even playing right now, but he has more talent for this game than anyone. On top of that, he has more heart than any ten humans.

I think you have to call Efren the best in the world just out of sheer respect. I was watching some matches of his yesterday and it occurred to me that while he's alive there's no use even playing this game. :) His speed control is just sick, it makes me want to either play more or just give up entirely. Also, his ability to kick at ANYTHING. I watched him play a safe against the Iceman that was just diabolical.
 
Let the top 25 in the world play a round-robin 10-ball race to 15, and I would bet that one of these would win
