Who is the maker of this Q?

One of these Qs has a maker mark of a K with a crown above and all is enclosed in a circle. Does anyone know who the maker is and any info about that Q? Given the age of the other 3 Qs, it was probably made in the 70s to very early 80s. Any info would b appreciated. Thanx.

The old pool table maker, Irving K, made some cues also. It could be one of those. Just a guess though.

I looked at this auction

I looked it over. I used to collect some Meucci cues a few years ago, but I have sold them and moved up on cues.

It appears to have 2 really old Meucci cues. They have the round bumpers and dating them as early with brass screws.

I estimate the 2 meucci are worth a minumum of 200 each
the other meucci is newer and worth at lest 200
the other cues worth nothing to me.

But my point is if you can get the deal for 600 or less you have done well.

I'm aware of the Meucci Qs and have over 100 Meucci Originals in my collection. My question is about the other Q, the one with the K on it.

100 meucci cues !!!! That collection has to be worth hundreds of dollars.

I'm sure u meant EACH

I seem to recall that in the 70s and 80s more pros used Meucci Originals than all other makers put together. Yes, my 100 Meucci Originals are probably worth hundreds of $$ "each", maybe even a little more. :D

tough to tell from the pics, the joint collar looks to be aluminum with a brass pin? it's a wonder....

sure many pros went to meucci when tourneys switched to 9ball from 14.1. They had a different joint, longer taper, and rear balance point which some guys liked for moving the cuebll around. Compare those to the standard say Szamboti of the time and you have 2 very different animals. Must have been a cool time for cue makers.

missing stroke found

I will suggest toyou to spend a little time paying attention to your stroke when it returns because the reason it departs is most likely very fundamental. Don't get too mystic...look for simple answers first. Once you learn your stroke you should be able to regain it in about 5 shots. Don't get bored...do the same thing every time...keep everything constant and look for the tiny flaw.
Figure out what, specifically, is giving you trouble and begin there...it's a big clue.
Just my opinion...you be the judge.
