Here is a story that played out earlier tonight at a local pool room.......

Two players have entered into a game of one pocket. The score is 7-1, yet the balls are uptable and the game is not over yet.

An announcement comes that the pool room will be closing in 10 minutes. At this point in time, both players decide that the game may not finish in time, but they keep playing.

The player leading in the game has decided he will no longer put in his full effort, since the game may not end in time anyway. While the trailing player is still trying on every shot.

All of a sudden, the score is 7-4. As other tables begin to pack up, the player that is leading rakes the balls, thus ending the game.

The other player (myself) contends that raking the balls is a loss of game. However, my opponent claims that he quit trying when there was only 10 minutes left, so he has won the game.

Both sides have a good argument. So, who do you think deserved to be awarded a victory in the game?

You both lost. Neither of you have any argument that you won. Neither of you deserved the victory.

I don't worry about the score brother, I worry about winning. I had the balls positioned precisely where I wanted them. I would have to say that I was the favorite if the game continued.

By the way, I began this game with a perfectly executed kick break. I've been told by a certain Chicago player that you've got a tiger by the tail if anyone uses the kick break against you. I don't know how true that is. It's more of a gimmick break to use if the standard break isn't working.

Can you honestly deny that I have created the majority of the most interesting topics on the main forum over the past few weeks? Can you imagine what it would look like without my topics? Hardly anyone else even discusses pool.

Yes... you're the favorite in a the game.... cause you had all the balls positioned at the head of the tabel, and your are behind, but for some reason you believe you are ahead... you're a legend in your own mind....

'Interesting' is not the adjective I would use to define the threads you dumped on AZB thus far.

Chris is trolling AND posting interesting topics. Doesn't have to be one or the other.

Chris, I've found most of your posts to be good reads and worth replying to. At the same time, that post you made in Geno's thread where you basically accused his protegee of running a con on Geno was pretty troll-ish. And when you made the post about not calling fouls on yourself, you basically marked yourself as a bit sleazy in the minds of many people on the forums. So now even when you make a legit post they're going to be all over you.

I mean this strictly in a constructive way, it would be nice if we could get the interesting stuff without the 'bait'. You make yourself a target and then have to make dozens of posts in your own defense... do you really enjoy those exchanges?
