Since there is a favorite player to watch thread, I thought I should start one for least favorite player to watch. Sorry if this has already been done before. Nothing against any of these players, but just my personal preference.

Ismael Paez - u know know what im talking about if u've seen his stroke. jumps up on EVERY shot. but nevertheless a great player

Johnny Archer - slow plays way too much for the audience's pleasure, nothing against playing slow though, if it is necessary, then do so. but not always appealing to watch

Soquet taking three trips around the table with a three ball easy stop-stop runout makes me watch another table at the Open or DCC and Archer picking lint to slow play on purpose. Oh I forgot one Charlie the eye roller Williams.--Leonard

I would have to say Charlie Williams.

I can't stand to watch him do 1000 quick practice strokes/ jump up off the shot 3-4 times each and every shot.

There are two players that I hate watching them play, they bore me to death.

#1 Ralf Soquet
#2 Neils Feijen

both of these players are so slow, turns aroung the table many times even for Kozmo layouts, something obvious and simple, yet they have to go around the table to look at the angel, Things dont come natural in them, they needs to study, and that kills me.

if I had a dvd with them playing against one of my favorite players, I got many fav players, I happen to press "Forward" on my video whenever its their turn to shoot, I press forward until my fav player come back to play his turn, yes its that bad ;P

yes, sometimes it helps my game even if i just get to the table 5 times on a race to 7. i think it helps a lot when u see someone in front of u playing pool how its supposed to played

It's funny, I do know what you're talking about, and I bet a lot of other people here do to, only because of what happens when you Google "U.S. Open pool"

Least Favorite Player

I liked Jimmy Reids abilities but I always thought his pre shot routine was about 4 times as long as anyone needed, probably some reason why they do it though{ positive affirmation or feedback on routine shots prepares you for same result on difficult shots}?

I know he's a great player but, I can't stand watching Mike Davis with that stroke of his. I know it works well for him but, I love watching a pretty stroke.:D

I'm little surprised no one has mentioned Mika yet. ;-)

That said, I really love to watch him play when things are going his way.

Allen Hopkins

Rod you are so right..he kills me everytime he strokes the
ball..its teeth grinding..dont know how he plays so well
shooting like that..Allen "NO STROKE" Hopkins..SA

I know exactly what you mean. It's brutal watching slow play and I guess since i've been going to the US Open for so many years I don't have the patience to sit and watch a real slow match.

I have to agree. It's almost like he has ADHD or something. Those million spasm-like practice strokes he does just get to be annoying.
