Who is your LEAST favorite player to watch?

There are two players that I hate watching them play, they bore me to death.

#1 Ralf Soquet
#2 Neils Feijen

both of these players are so slow, turns aroung the table many times even for Kozmo layouts, something obvious and simple, yet they have to go around the table to look at the angel, Things dont come natural in them, they needs to study, and that kills me.

if I had a dvd with them playing against one of my favorite players, I got many fav players, I happen to press "Forward" on my video whenever its their turn to shoot, I press forward until my fav player come back to play his turn, yes its that bad ;P

If I see I'm playing a guy and his angel I quit immediately.

Rod you are so right..he kills me everytime he strokes the
ball..its teeth grinding..dont know how he plays so well
shooting like that..Allen "NO STROKE" Hopkins..SA

it was never pretty but always feared and very effective. A great player!
Just to show how it goes for folks, he was one of my favorites!

One of the slowest players I have ever seen was Dick Lane.

Dick ran 7 racks on me in Olathe KS years ago. I thought the Eclipse would come before he was done. I turned around and ran 8 and out on him and I thought he was going to have a nervous breakdown. his herky jerkie episodes would drive anyone near crazy!! he could play though!

Numero Uno would be Dannhy Basavitch and number two isn't even close.

Not necessarily because he was slow, just all the "ticks" I guess.

Next on the list would be a couple of my league teammates.
Me: "You got BIH 3 times that game and pocketed 2 balls? Seriously?"

It has to be.............

It would have to be a Filipino. I can't single one guy out because they're all alike, except for maybe Marlon.

I mean, really, all that loosy-goosey, loopy stroke stuff, never getting out of line and never missing a freakin' ball and don't get me started on the kicks and the safeties. Man, that gets old. Maybe, I can put up with Parica, cause he tells good stories. :D

Earl with all his BS. Its shameful to see someone with his talent completely give up in the middle of a match. Its painful to watch.

Me. Seriously. When I'm on, I'm pretty slow. That said, I find it faster to run balls, than to trade turns like others do!!!

I agree, but sometimes it is quite funny, like his reaction to Souqet's slow play in the match posted above

Kid Delicious, Seems like every shot has to be power stroked. And all the prestroking drives me nuts.

I haphazardly guess that Earl Strickland would vote for Souquet too:

;-)

the more I think about it, the funnier that match is

Earl refusing to get up, even when a push was attempted by Ralf

Earl mumbling about Ralf shooting so slow while Earl is busy running the rack

Earl's attire was outright hilarious too. He looks like a tourist who just visited Atlanta with that huge sweatshirt. Two gloves! :D

You left out a Charlie. How bout Hillbilly with all his stalling and racking problems. He annoys me more times than not !

LOL GARY....you know I come from the stall school so thats a wash. The racking problems you can attach to so many players so thats a wash too. Hillbilly, Im sure has been labeled that along with a gaggle of others but all the times I seen him play he plays to a decent tempo.

Blackjack is right...Fixx is slow, so is Lane but I never minded watching either. There was a guy down here for years which will remain nameless that averaged 35-40 practice strokes and you NEVER know if he will stand up and reload !! Good thread...

I have to say Grady Mathews. In his day, he could really dab it, but for the past few years, he scrunches up his face, doesn't practice stroke at all, and lets fly with the most spasmodic, jerkiest stroke I've ever seen from a pro.

I think I gotta vote for Danny Bassovitch.

One of the first videos I watched online (ever, when I was first finding youtube matches) was him and charlie bryant... and he does that OMG.IM.ON.CRACK.GOTTA.STROKE.THE.SHAFT.A.LOT.AS.FAST.AS.I.CAN semi-pre-shot-routine thing... makes me nervous and uncomfortable just watching it on youtube. *shiver*

Allen Hopkins is no fun to watch either, that poke-stroke is one ugly monster.
