(I searched in 'for sale'/didn't find.)

I have a leather Cowboy Instroke 3x7. The exterior is 33 1/2 inches high(base{not including bottom bumpers} to the top of the closed lid.)

I recently acquired another black (smells like leather) Instroke 3x7 that measures a smidge over 32 inches on the same dimension.

I compared it to 3 other Instrokes (3x5's) at the poolroom. They all were the 33 1/2 inches high.

Is there a standard heighth?

Why the difference? Anybody know?

(Since I bot it for storage at a good price, I am just curious. The butt pins slightly impress on the fabric of the closed lid. JP's might not make it in there.)

Both are tube-type interiors, same layout. One is just shorter.

Trying to get educated-thanks for any help in understanding the difference in manufacturing. Models? Old Instroke/new Instroke? Original/post split German/Taiwanese?

Take care

What is "heighth"? Is that a melding/blending of the words "height" and "width"?

(Not trying to be a smartaleck -- I've just not seen that term used before.)

I have/had a cowboy 3 X 6 that my Scruggs and Gulyasse (sp) Sledge Hammer break/jump fit perfectly in. No problem.

I acquired several other cues that I had the same problem that you are currently experiencing. The joint screw or cue was slightly longer and made the lid hard to close. A little pressure over powered that problem.

The problem then moved. Since I increased the pressure on the top, it eventually started to push the bottom out of the case.

There were some made shorter. My suggestion is to sell the shorter one before you damage it as I have. JMO
