Guys and Girls, I just went and picked this bad boy up a couple hours ago and WOW.....

The cue has 13mm shafts with ivory ferrules and weighs 19.2ozs!!!!:eek:

I want to thank Casey (or1pkt) for letting me purchase is spot cheap and keeping the cue in Ohio:D I didnt know him at the time, and he posted a thread about selling a SW spot....Come to find out he lived about 30 minutes away from me, and ALL the Southwest hoarders tried to buy it, even bidding higher than me, but he sold it to me and let me order what I wanted :D

So the cue has all the rings, special butt, wrapless birdseye handle and triple laminates of white, purple and blue.....Ivory ferrules and an astonishing weight for Gaboon ebony on gaboon ebony,,

I dry hit some and WOW it has that Szamboti ping

So here are some pics and I wanted to thank Casey...We did business the old fashioned way where we agreed, I paid, he ordered, we stayed in touch, he got the cue, and I picked it up with no problems...I didnt even have to pay through paypal through a fourth party funded credit card thru my neighbors uncles, grandmas, sisters brother in law:D:eek:

Have I told you how much I hate you!:D,Be down this weekend!When I'm done that thing will be nicked up,butt and ferrulles cracked,it will be broken in,but don't worry Marty's cue repair will fix it!;)

Looks good buddy, glad it all worked out and you ended up getting exactly what you wanted. The cue did turn out much better than I anticipated , and I m usually not an ebony guy but I liked this one so much there may be an ebony SW in my future since I have 3 more coming in next 3 years. :thumbup:

Casey, thanks buddy....It came out pretty good....We will get into Ebony sooner or later.....Let me know when you wanna sell the next spot:thumbup:

Thanks Phil, The cue looks wayyyyyyyyy better in person and the veneers are SICK!! double rings arent bad either...

I have 2 questions.

1. That cue would look great with wrap. You didnt get a wrap on the cue because you are saving your money up?

2. Did that cue come with fuzzy dice? Somehow it appears it did.

Just wondering.

Ken, oh how I miss you living only mere minutes away:D.....That cue is the NUTS without a wrap, but just in case, I have another ebony on ebony with blue veneers that HAS a wrap so I am good:eek:

Next one is getting pink veneers:cool: Bet....
 
this will probably serve as a family heirloom.
loving the combination of colours.
