Who made it??

Congratulations on a very very unique build. You have learned many skills Mr. LUXE Custom cues. I like it a lot.

Not sure what makes it look like a production cue but I do appreciate the feedback so far. And I can guarantee that all white on cue and shafts are ivory except the ferrules because the person that has the cue didn't want Ivory ferrules.
Also if you look at the shafts and joint area the rings are machined into the shaft and upper cue. Not round rings normally found on most cues that get glued on to a tenon.
Again thanks for the feedback.

Well good luck to you. There are facets of that cue as I have stated and that someone else has stated that make it look like one of those PI imports you see on Ebay from another guy in Cali.

I think it has to do with your proportions more than anything.

I have been building cues since 1989 then I took a break and have recently started to work on cues. This cue was one I finished recently its not my first build. This is one of my cues that I used for the lack of a better description the shark tooth ring design on the cue and shafts. I like to build 7 point design cues and use my shark tooth design in my cues when it fits the design and wood I use. I didn't take picture of my early cues but here is a link of a couple my other builds from 1995.That the retailer took of cues they sold for me. Again thanks for feedback

I initially wondered the same thing ...

The thing about this cue that intrigues me is that it has 7 points. How does someone index a cue to 7 positions?

______
Every 51.428571 degrees. ... Hmmmm

Since that isn't gonna happen based simply on 360/7 on current machine tools, the 7 equal parts must be constructed "outside" the circle.

A certain German scientist probably more famous for magnetism had a proof involving the problem contained in using a distinct, fermat prime number (7).

Anyhow, it's an interesting read.

I have my own ideas on how it can be done. If I am right, I'd hate to give away a unique characteristic of a Luxe cue free of charge to the rest of the world.

Bravo, and interesting work!

Who made it?

That looks alot like a Phillipino made cue. Look under Poolshark.com and find a cue maker. "Worx" cues it looks like one of theirs.

Chinese or Philipino cue

If you go onto Poolsharks.com you will see a list of cue makers. look for Worx cues near the bottom of the list. It looks alot like one of theirs. I think they're Chinese.

Who made it?

I believe it is a Philipino made cue. Be careful with those cues. They are made with real ivory inlays and have beautiful detail work but they play like crap. Their shafts are the worse. they tend to warp within a couple of months of play. The exotic materials are nice but the cues don't hold up too well.

First I am not filipino.
Second this cue made in USA all wood parts were well seasoned from woods that was purchased from reputable wood dealers and assembled with quality adhesives.
The cues was posted to ask mostly for opinion of design as we can not expect to get opinions of hit or materials as its not possible to ask since an AZers are not able to hold and hit with the cue or determine from posted pictures.
Third the cue is not for sale the cue has a owner.
Thanks
