Who made this schon?

Any way to put a value on it, a guy at a local pool hall has one and wants to sell it. Is it a Runde? How do you even tell?

The points are very pointy so it looks like an early schon. Please help! ;)
he said it has both shafts as well.

Great, thanks. How does one tell if its a Runde? By the points? or the Schon logo?

82-87 sharp points
82-85 stitch rings standard
85-present nickel ring standard with stitch ring option
88-92 CNC'd points, but still Runde era
93 Bob sold his interest in schon

What I think is interesting, you will find sharp point cues with sharp inlays, sharp points with CNC or pantograph inlays, CNC points with sharp inlays and CNC'd points with CNC inlays.

I believe that one is a one off, r12 forarem with a different butt sleeve.

Best bet would be to email pics to Schon to confirm for sure. I would say it is a Runde era cue if the shaft/s are original and do not say Schon anywhere on them. I have been told you can still special order sharp point Schons with stitch rings at this time but I have no idea how much they cost or how long they take to get.

By one off you mean someone altered the cue? or it was built by runde for someone?

Just not in the catalog. They made lots of customs and cues with various design themes borrowed from other cues in their lineup.

Ok great. Now I have to figure out what he wants for it and get measurements. Someone put a ridiculous price in his head as to what its worth.

Stitch rings, two full shafts and everything straight, I'd say 800-1000, maybe $1200 if super clean and the right buyer. I'm sure someone told him 1500-2000.

Exactly someone told him 2500+

I will let him know next week the appropriate value.
