Jerry R makes a great full splice cue from his own blanks, but I don't consider a cue with veneer's a sneaky.

I think the more popular are John Davis n Prather.
However i would like to know which is preferred as im thinking about getting one too.
John Davis seems to be the more popular choice but i notice some inconsistency in some of his blanks as the points are not lined up equally and some of his veneers at handle have defects.
On the other hand, prather seems to have thicker n nicer veneers which i like but most tend to use John Davis blank for conversion
