I know this is all subjective, but i would like to see who makes the best sneaky out there. Im interested in buying one and id like to see what everyone has to say.

You might want to do a search on this one, there are at least 5-8 threads on this, as I have started one or two of them myself since I love and collect SP's. And my answer is Richard Harris, aka Bluegrass Cues, makes the best SP.

It's not a sneaky, but love my Josey...not much experience with others.

Whatever you do, don't get a meuci sneaky pete, they make a ping sound after a month or so!!

If you want a real sneaky pete... get yourself a cheap Dufferin 2 piece rack cue. They are all similar quality and play 'nice for the price'. The advantage of this is you will be accustomed to the play of the rack cue that is available in most of the pool rooms. This means you can pick up a house cue and still perform - old style.

I have a cantando SP and it the best cue I ever hit!

Old bludworths are great sneakys. Not the newer ones , but the ones made by Leonard himself.

Leon Sly makes great playing sneaky petes like Tim Scruggs except Leons points were always even unlike most makers sneakys. Tony at BB taught him how to get them even. Sly's custom cues #410-827-4966

I played about 10 years with a Bludworth sneaky Pete. Small blood dot is the Leanord Blu. Newer Bluds have larger blood dot. Nice player but a little butt heavy which is common for SP. Another even better SP is a John Guffy SP. A TRUE SP with invisible, almost, joint. Nearly impossible to find and he has retired from cue making. Used Guffy sps in the late 1970's were $50 and easy to find. Wish I had bought them all!! LOL. You could leave a Guffy SP in a bar and return two weeks later and it would still be there in the rack with all the other bar cues!!

Jeff Eason makes a dual purpose sneaky, when it falls apart while screwing it together you can then use it for your new TOILET PLUNGER handle. l.o.l.
