$600 not $6000, he asked.:grin:RFisher said:Dennis Searing if he still makes cues
Can't believe I didn't think of an Olney steel joint, maybe because most of his are phenolic? I think it might be tough to get a Jensen for $600, but if you could, that would be a winner.cuesblues said:Jeff Olney builds a great steel jointed plain jane for substantially less than $600.00
Jensen (Mike Johnson) also builds a fantastic steel jointed cue, and he does build some plain jane cues that would be around $600.00.
Another one I like for under $600.00 is Bob Frey.
There are several, but it's an interesting question because most of my steel jointed cues are either traditional looking 4-point cues, or sneaky pete's.
I bought 3-steel jointed sneakies Scruggs-Mottey-Runde, all for under $600.00 and they are all really good cues.

That would be a fantastic cue and Doug is a great guy to deal with. Get that cue and don't look back.PunchOut said:

Might be O.K. but..If I was buying a cue to play with, the Jensen is a safe bet. IMHO-jeffPunchOut said:what do you guys think about John Madden?
