Who needs a Supreme when you can have a "K"

whats your thoughts on the final $$$ price that it will go for :)

I concur with 'hangemhigh'....probably somewhere in the 2.0-2.5 dime range for the package. The shafts are real nice and full, even with a little advertised wobble. You usually see them as pencils. Nice case with it, too.

First question should be, is the auction on the up and up. Looks like there hasn't been anything done on the account for over a year. Anyone interested should be cautious.

That Auction Looks Good To Me

That auction looks good to me, that cue looks good to me. IMHO, as nice as that cue is, I prefer both the Supreme and the M, although the K is one good looking Palmer.

The last Supreme went on eBay for $4,800. I might be tempted to take the over at $2,400 on this package.

I agree....the K is the most attractive line cue they ever made.

also agree. my fav cue of all the palmers.

however seans was way nicer than this and i think he only wanted 2000$

maybe about 2200 with the case. i wouldnt pay 2000$ and i tried to trade EVERYTHING TO SEAN FOR HIS. ALMOST 4000$ WORTH OF CUES

I think Sean's only had 5 rings above the wrap,at least the one on the web site did. I can't remember, but I don't think it was a K,...close though.

If I recall, Sean had 2 K's - he sold one that I know of for about $2200 and kept one with a celebrity name which he put in his collection. This was several years ago.

Tate, did some of the "k's" have less rings above the wrap than the one in the auction?

I don't think so. But I notice this one has two thinner rings than mine. Mine has a Szamboti forearm - I think the auction one is a Palmer shop built forearm - you can see a difference in the length of the points and the overall quality of the veneers.

Here's the link to mine to compare:

Tate's correct. We had two, but Matt owned one of them and sold it....think it may have even gone to Cain. The one that I had for so long, well, I finally ended up selling it. I wasn't going to unless the money was right and it was, plus at the time I thought the Palmer prices might be maxed out for those line cues....also I was in the process of reshaping my collection. Got rid of all my Palmers.

Wow, just checked this auction out and looks like somebody retracted their bid. It's down to $1025 with 12 hrs to go. Way too cheap for that cue. Looks like somebody's going to get a real bargain !!

My view on good Palmer's is, if it goes for cheap, it goes to me! Problem is they're not going for cheap too often!

Winning bid: US $2,184.00

Oh well. On to the next.

The K did well and it needed some clean-up, makes me think I should sell my pristine M right soon.

Where did I come up with 5 rings??? Man,I love that look. I wonder why you do not see more cues with stacked rings above the wrap. I like the washed veneers too.
