I can not agree with this at all, people are different on a forum that they are in real life. The only diffrence is what they say here, they would normally say behind your back or out of ear shot!!
I met Fatboy and talked to him at DCC and I just have to tell you, as cool as Jay is if Fatboy is ok with Jay he is ok with Leonard

I totally agree, and to me this is only part of the issue. I really dislike Nut Hugging in any shape, or form.
This post is not and never was meant to defame,or speak badly about Fatboy on any level, it is not really even about Fatboy. I was just poking fun at some of the nut huggers out there!!!!!!

Now for those that disagree, and for those who want to give me a piece of their mind for making these statements, my words are not directed at any one person. However, if the shoe fits wear it Sweat Heart, because opinions are like the nose on everyones face, some are held high, some are kept low, and some are covered with a Brown substance that attracts flies.
Oh and by the way this is just an opinion, but it has been on my mind, and even though this will not be popular with some, most that know me, also know I speak my mind!!!!!!!!

Isn't it possible that some of the posts that you interpret as nut-hugging or ass-kissing are just people being friendly or having fun? Sometimes completely unknown newbies pop up and you see people being friendly to them.
Ever notice that when you're thinking about buying a particular car, all of a sudden all you see way more of them on the road than you ever realized before? It could be the same here, where one sees only what they're looking for.
Anyway, I could go on, but I've rambled enough. I think you and I both want the same thing anyway, which is more pool, less drama.

There is nothing out of the way or wrong in anyway about being friendly or having fun, and only those who read this can possible know if their comments are heart felt or Nut-Hugging!!!! I have also cheered people along for reasons that are not even substantiated by facts, I often believe in my gut feeling about things and people. It has served me very well throughout my life, in fact it has saved it. Again, there is nothing wrong with lending support to some one who needs it, for the right reasons, or if it is heart felt. But Ass-Kissing and Nut Hugging are a feeble attempt at gaining credibility by agreeing with someone even if you do not understand the subject, or even if you know it is false. This problem is present everywhere, but it is more frequently encountered on forums because everyone grows at least an inch on line!!!!!!!!!!

I met Fatboy and we played Pool on two evenings...
We had really a great time. He has the poolspirit in his heart, he really likes the game and the players and he trys to make it more popular (like a lot of players try to do).
If you just read his postings and search for negative things, you will find them. But read your own postings and try also to interpret every word negative and you will see it depents on how much you are opinionated against a person.
Maybe i cant write perfect english, but i try to read every posting here without any harm.
And try to find positive things .
For all native speakers here, it should be more easy for you to do like I discribed. Try it out and you will see how your mind will change about others people here.
