Poor choice of words on my part. It felt to me like a blanket personal statement, because the implication I took was that anyone who has made a positive post about Fatboy is a brown noser. If your goal was simply to make anyone who has made such a post take a look at themselves and decide if they are a money grubbing ass-kisser, OK, missing accomplished here. I double checked, and found that the shoe didn't fit me. <phew>
Honestly though, true ass-kissing does bother me too, but so does getting accused of being an ass-kisser (not that you did that to me). On the other hand, if I were ever thought to be one by someone, I'd rather they just tell me so I can at least explain to them how they misinterpreted me simply being nice.
Isn't it possible that some of the posts that you interpret as nut-hugging or ass-kissing are just people being friendly or having fun? I try not to make negative posts, but I can think of at least one example where I have about a rich person, and I've cheered on people of an unknown financial and/or social status. Sometimes completely unknown newbies pop up and you see people being friendly to them.
Ever notice that when you're thinking about buying a particular car, all of a sudden all you see way more of them on the road than you ever realized before? It could be the same here, where one sees only what they're looking for.
Anyway, I could go on, but I've rambled enough. I think you and I both want the same thing anyway, which is more pool, less drama.
Thank you, too, for elaborating on your thoughts and the respectful exchange.
