Pics of the cases are nice to see, as are the pics of cues. I think the cue gallery is a good place for now.

I think cases are an art form all by itself. I feel like they get lost in the cue gallery. However it may further dilute how much people can view in AZ.

For myself I already spend way too much time and I only browse three forums.

personally i think theyres too many subforums period, It dilutes the main forum. and some of them only get 1 or 2 posts a day. I think we could do without a bunch of em. Just my two cents though.

I think there are too many subforums as well, however given some that are already in place, I believe that a case forum would be justified. I also agree that the cue forum is so inundated with cues that it would be nice to have a place to dedicate to cases only. I also think that it would be beneficial to someone that is looking to order a custom case, to have a place to go and compare and contrast different cases in an effort to get exactly what they like. I am for it  .

Art plus security issue

Not only are cue cases in themselves an art form, there is a real pragmatic reason to have a cue case section of the forums. Sadly, we hear too often about cases and cues being stolen. While this would not solve theft issues...it could help recover someone's belongings if people know there is a place where their cue and case is recorded online.

It doesn't matter to me whether we create another forum or not, but if we do, instead of calling it "cue cases gallery" it should just be "cue cases discussion" and then encourage all case discussion to occur there, including how to make them, reviews and pictures (kind of like the four "cues" forums combined into one for cases).

I don't think its necessary, but now that the issue has been brought up, you might as well have one to keep posts like this out of the main forum...
