I'm going to dig into the vast mountain of knowledge. ....or the bottomless pit of bulls**t....posesed by the AZ Membership. It is said Albert Einstein said this...others say there is no proof he said it. Anyway, here it is......

"Billiards is the well developed art of thinking ahead. Its not only a game, but first and foremost a demanding sport, which requires good stamina, the logical thinking of a chess player, and the stable hand of a concert pianist."

You don't have to be an Einstein to know whose quote that is.

So, in that regard, who said this? "The Secret of Creativity is knowing how to hide your sources."

Was it Obama? No ... couldn't be, he couldn't make that much sense without a teleprompter.

Oh, I know where I got confused. He said ... " If I could only stroke my d!$% into this tree while the world goes to hell in a handbasket".

How could I confuse that?

Is this a trick question? You ask us who said it, then tell us who said it.

Who said this?

"There's a scuffler and there's a hustler, ya see. A hustler is one who is always in action and gets it once in a while, a good one more often. Then there's a scuffler. He never gets it. Ya understand? All he ever does is waste his time. He gets in everybody's way. Ya understand? That's all, he goes through life and he's a failure".

Fats said this. I remember seeing a video on Utube where he was being interviewed by someone and he said that.

Why, Fats, of course! :grin-square:

I think fat's also stated that everyone is hustling in one way or another, including the president and politicians, and your average joe.

The Mark Twain quote is pretty eloquent, and very true. Funny how Fats and Twain speak truths in very juxtaposed styles.

Also see my signature for the line out of Spinal Tap.

I seriously doubt it was Einstein. It is grossly exaggerated and probably inaccurate.

The one thing that is accurate is to play pool, billiards or snooker you need to have a vast knowledge of the games and then develope the skills to play the game. In other words imagine a chess master who knows every move but has to move the pieces with chopsticks. If he fumbles the piece he loses.

Best quote ever goes to Ernest Hemmingway:
"The only true sports are auto racing, mountain climbing, & bull fighting, everything else is just a game"

I truly have no idea who said it. The only quote I can think of that is attributed to Albert Einstein is " There are six million shots in the game of pool".
