Got to play this young fella a couple of years ago at the US Amateurs in Tampa. I was so impressed with his demeanor and game, I talked about him when I got home (upstate NY)to everyone I knew who loved pool. IMO he was a young Dennis Hatch, the way he moved around the table and pocketed balls. I was very fortunate to get bye him only because I played very well. There was no give up in him!
Even complemented his game to his parents who were traveling with him. I believe he was only 18 or 19 at the time. He went on to a third place finish a year or two after this which is worthy of recognition.
Been watching him develop into a formidable young pro while under the radar and not well known yet as evidenced by the above comments. But believe me, this young man will become a household name in the billiard world in short order.
He is talented, hungry, fearless and a gentlemen with respect for the game. A combination that can't miss. Wish you the all the best TA.
