BEM Josswest
Here are the specs on my Josswest:
Butt - 15.2 oz., 28.5" (to bottom of buttcap, not bumper)
Original shaft (w/Micarta ferrule) - 3.9 oz., 28.75" (joint to end of tip), 13.12mm
Rat Cues shaft (ivory ferrule) - 4.1 oz., 29.75", 12.99mm
The original shaft has a noticeable wobble, I guesstimate 1/16" or less. The Rat Cues shaft has a very, very slight variation when rolled. I would call it straight, but no surprises. The butt is straight. Mike Webb told me 3 weeks ago that it spun true on the lathe.
So, overall it is 57-1/4" - 57.75", 19.z - 19.3 oz., 18.5" balance point with the longer shaft. Rolls straight with the longer shaft, with a wobble on the shorter one.
And, yes I zero out my calipers with the tape on them so they are accurate. :thumbup:

Still Looking - Bump
Lots of really nice cues - I guess I am being picky - got a few in mind.
The BEM JW is very nice - but decided against it - Good luck on the sale, SCOTT - but you won't need it - plenty of people will enjoy that cue - and great price.
So I am still deciding on a cue - Really trying to find my shooter that I will not sell/Flip. Guess I am just taking my time to find the right one.
Got a few in mind - just making up my mind -:banghead: :indecisive: :shrug:
BUT ARE THERE ANY MORE CUES IN MY RANGE OUT THERE????????

If I were you I'd maybe look at a Josey SP. This one is called the Magicians Wand for $620. http://www.joseycues.com/cues.php Bad to the bone. Specs: You pick em. Hope you find what your lookin for

A been out all day in the hot sun BUMP.
ANYBODY OUT THERE???
Just want a nice shooter - that I will KEEP - Maybe a SLY? Wrapless? Ivory joint? All/some/none of those things might interest me - I am really trying to decide, because it will be a keeper. Need to keep one cue to get used to shooting with before VEGAS.
