Who was the best?

...coming to the US Open this year? I hear the field is going to be pretty easy.

Even so, I wouldn't stand a chance. Yesterday, I made my highest ever run--3 balls--against this guy:

He didn't like it.
They say I'll be out of the casts in a couple of months.

Donald's goofy -- which reminds me of a joke about Minnie Mouse -- but do we have any clips of Bugs playing?

bob, is this the one you were thinking of?

divorce court judge: mr. mouse you can not divorce your wife on the grounds that she is crazy.

mickey mouse: your honor i didn't say she was crazy, i said she was f***ing goofy.

While we're on the subject of the late Mr. Disney, here's a photo of the billiards room in his home, which recently sold:

I'm really curious as to who the billiard player is in Donald in Mathmagic Land. Does anyone know? He is not listed in the credits anywhere. It's not Hoppe or Cochran, but who is it? He can definitely play the game.

I do know that Lou and Sal Butera worked on several TV and movie productions out here. I have done a few myself, including the opening scene for the Dennis Miller show, where all six miniature planet Earths go into six different pockets. Normally not a hard shot to make, but on a plywood "stage" table it was not so easy. I did it though and then Dennis heaved my Josey cue across the room! I was pissed!

Sure. The action starts around 1:30...place your bets:

I'm pretty sure it's where the term "rock" came from to refer to the cue ball, and also the origin of the Hit-'Em-Hard-They'll-Fall-Somewhere aiming system. It clearly proves that pocket games preceded carom games. Barney was the better celebrity player of the two, and had put together a 3-pack once. Jay Helfert did some of the trickier shots, and is mentioned in the end credits. It's also a little-known fact that prototype Kamui tips were used during the filming.
