Who Won The King of 8's Round Robin?

Jude's opinion

Ok here it is.......Anything can happen on a bar box..I think if you are gonna get raised it should be baised on big table by a ten or higher rated player.

As for Lenny I am waitng for him to everybody the truth about him and I.

4 meetings.

1st match; I played him one hole getting the breaks. race to 4 he beat me 4-3 keep in mind I had never played onehole for money prior to that meeting.

2nd match: 9 ball Played him at Payson at 3 in the morning drunk as hell on a box he beat me something like 9-3

3rd match: the next day at 12 noon tourny I beat him 10-1

4th match : played him at his house after I just got done playing barbox league and not allowed to hit balls before match..I was giving him the eightball playing 9ball race to nine. he beat me I think it was 9-6.

Now tell me is that dominating?

I am calling out Lenny right now.I dont care If we play for a dollar I want to play you but I want everybody to watch. Including this so called rating commitee.Lenny's mouth got him raised. He hides behind the mic and these forums. He can come get some when ever the fck he wants.........

When I'm done with that chump I will be gunning for one more Ill give you a hint his name starts with a J. and he is not an eight!

Jerry, quick question. Would you play Lenny even up 8 ball?

Dennis

Yeah! I think on the barbox I'm the favorite, but he's probably the favorite on the big table.

If we played 1 pocket, I would need the world

Hey!

This is John Casey, Stat man and commentator throughout many of the matches. I used my rating system and comprised stats on most every match that was on the live stream. I have entered most of the data and am pleased with the results, thus far.

Just to give a heads up, most of the players were in the 70-80% shooting range. Carlos played well, but he didn't look to overwhelm and outclass everyone just in pure play. The one thing that I think helped Carlos is that he played safeties well, and more importantly played overall smartly.

I wish I had statted the match between Brady V and Mike H though. Brady really stepped it up. Mike played consistently strong throughout the tournament and this showed up both statistically and from what I personally saw. So congrats to Brady to compete so strongly against him. Mike's biggest downfall throughout the whole tournament seemed to be a case of the rattles (balls rattling in the pocket, not him being rattled).

Overall, I had a great time. Commentating was pretty cool, especially for first time doing it. Sometimes it kept me pretty busy, doing that and statting at the same time.

Thanks.

Jerry's words.

Jude's play went up and down all day. Until he saw there was a slim chance of still getting in the finals, then he turned it on.
I'm glad to know I have a switch.......

My play was not up and down at all. My first loss was to Carlos who just plain out beat me..My second lost was to Mike Howerton and if you ask him I was on the bad end of some pretty bad rolls. I'm pretty sure I only missed three or four shots. Mike ran out everything from that point. He played perfect. ask him about the match.. other than that I would have to have won more games then the rest of the guys that only lost 2. That includes the guy that was 5-0 till I beat him..Justin said earlier I lucked my way into the finals not sure what that means. Carlos was the only one with one loss I won more games than the rest. That is what a round robin is all about...Again congrats to Carlos for beating me in the finals.

HMMMMMMMM...:scratchhead:

2 for 2, but need more info. before i start assuming.

Jerry,
I think you beat lenny on both tables. You paly a lot more safes. And if you are truley playing nine speed you should be able to play on nine foots or the rating system is really screwed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is nice I guess I have the forums all to my self. Kinda like Lenny and his mic every night.

I'll have to go back and evaluate my amount of safeties. All I know is I do what I can to make sure I win every game. If I can't get out, then locking up your opponent is the way to go.

Maybe you guys don't play enough safes? Or play better position than me.

I know in my 8-ball match it was very strange for me. I didn't practice breaking at all in 8-ball and tried a few different approaches during the match where none of them worked. In a typical match like that I'd easily run out 2 or 3 games when making a ball on the break. Oh well, I had to fight the hard way to get the win.

I wasn't dogging your game I was giving you props. Safes are the way to go.

What is a safe?
Fck you biaaaaaaatch.. I got the Jedi mind trick put on by Carlos Sat. He told me when we were warming up before the tourny he wasn't playing safes. He said it would only slow down the tourny. Not being a bar box tourny player I listened to him. I feel cheated and want a rematch!!!
