Wow, I read the first post of this thread and thought it would be the most inane thread ever. Then I read the rest, and you guys have restored my faith in the forum.

Betting on Bugs is one of those "too good to be true" bets. I mean look at his track record, particularly in his rivalry with Daffy:
Rabbit: 5,368
Duck: 0

Efren never dreamed of domination like that.

But on the other hand, if something looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. What's he setting us up for? In any gambling situation, it behooves one to determine all the possible ways the situation can be manipulated by one's opponents and "allies" to make one into a sucker. I'd be very wary of this rabbit.

Anyone who has watched the Looney Toons knows that the answer is Bugs.

Taz would attempt a shot, miss, flip out and rip up half of the room and eat his cue stick.

Sylvester would be doing ok but then he would see a mouse living in the wall of the pool hall. He would then disappear from the match.

Down to Daffy vs Bugs. Daffy would pull out all of the sharking techniuques imaginable but Bugs has alot of experience with Daffy and would not be fazed.

Daffy would then resort to outright cheating by leaning something on a chair causing it to fall and hit Bugs as he is in his backstroke.

Now Daffy is up, but Bugs is pretty clever and once Daffy goes all out with the cheating the rules have changed. I am guessing that a slight case of reverse psychology and a piece of chalk with a dob of vasiline in the center would do the trick and Daffy would be miscuing on his opening shot. Bugs would have some amused quip and quickly shoot the game ball while Daffy is flipping out.


Winner, Bugs.

Bugs is at the table now....
Daffy gets runover by everyone everytime, so he's a definite no-win....
Sylvester has too much practice hauling ass away from the action and hiding, so I'm betting alot of bad moves in the past, and he's not a stayer....
Taz may try the blitzkrieg approach and go for everything, but his whirlwind approach would eventually cause him to tire too early in the game, although he may be the one getting his money back outside after the payoffs.....

And Bugs has a great habit of finding a hole whenever he needs one, so I'm going to have to put him a bit higher up the player food chain, by at least a hare:wink:
And who could focus on their game with that annoying voice and constant carrot chomping going on in the background?!
Besides, he has a solid history of beating all the shooters that came looking for him, and still getting the carrots at the end!
Yep. Betting it all on Bugs!
