Who would you play?

I was going to say Mosconi too, but then it hit me he doesnt seem like a "fun" guy to hang out with.

So I pick Jackie Gleason, I heard he can play some, and it would be very entertaining. I dont expect to win any games no matter which pro I choose.

It would be fascinating to play Captain Francois Mingaud. He was probably the most revolutionary player of his age. I'd like to see firsthand what he could do with a leather tip, especially when no one else was doing it.

I'd most like to play a welsh snooker player named Cliff Wilson, who was an ex coal miner and blind in one eye. Never a prolific winner, but my god he could pot.

If you could play any professional pool player from any time past or present who would you play?

The game you like to play, set of ten, how many could you win with alternating breaks?

There are a ton of highly attractive women pros who I'd love to play, especially if I had a chance at more than just a game a pool. Of course, I do live in reality and so. . .

Myself I'd play Mosconi when he was young, early to mid twenties. To me he is where pool began in this country. I'd like to see what level of play he had then and see how he would try and hustle. Can you imagine walking into the pool hall he hung out at then, knowing what you know about who he is and getting to challenge.

I'd like to think I would win at least one game.

That's one for the time travel machine I got on order.

For those of you who know me from pool.bz you'll just have to bear with me on the duped q's.
I would play Shanelle for 2 reasons.
1st)She takes so long to shoot,so it would give me a longer time to
stare at her boobs.
2)When she finally decides to shoot after 10 min of aiming and misses,
I get a good laugh to.Its a win win for me:smile:

Well for olden day players it would be Michal Phalen. Not so olden would be Willie Hoppe(although still old) Modern player would be Ronnie Osullivan.

Non Pros would include Hu(ShootingArts) Joey A, Black-Balled and Jay> this would be a ring game with Smorgass Bored holding the cash and Michaela Tabb keeping us honest.

rodney morris because he is such a nice guy and i enjoy his game.....one pocket for sure.......second would be scott frost because i could learn from his go for it style.....i wouldnt win a game with either, but the knowledge from watching him shoot would be awesome....

I played Minnesota Fats one game of 8-ball which was a trip,
but for a 10-game set it would have to be Ewa...:love2:
In 8-ball I might have a chance, plus it takes longer than 9B.

When I was 18 years old (25 years ago) I got to hang out and shoot with Earl Strickland for about 3 hours straight one day and several hours a day for the rest of that week. It was the very first year we had a major pool tournament in our town of Augusta, it was held at the Augusta Riverfront Pub & Sports and they had bleachers set-up inside so you could sit down and watch the tournys. It was middle of the week, middle of the day and Earl was playing/practicing on a table by himself and I was sitting on the bleachers watching, was only a handful of people in the place, maybe 7-10 people, and he turned to me and asked me if I wanted to shoot with him, so of course I jumped at the opportunity, so I got to stand there and pretty much hold my cue while I watched Earl play, MAYBE getting a shot every 15 minutes or so and usually only one shot at a time inless I was lucky enough to make 2 balls in a row, then watch Earl play for another 30 minutes, lol. Needless to say, I didn't get to shoot much but at 18 years old I thought I was KING hanging out with Earl Strickland, he even gave me a Masters chalk holder that I still have to this day.

If I had to PICK anyone, I would love to shoot with Efren.
