Good first post, i think out of all the divisions this is the most toughest one to pick a winner, iam going to go with the favorite Mr.Brumback(spell), but there are so many more players that can win the banks, iam hopeing Shuff finishes high or wins it, but if i had to bet i would say Brumback!
 
After watching Justin Hall play at Buffalo Billiards recently, I'd say he has a chance, maybe.
 
The DCC is a very difficult format with short races which makes this a very tough call. For Brumback to win the DCC Bank Championship in back to back years was quite a feat. He is certainly the most consistent bank player today. Would love to see him win it again.
 
John is always a fave, but there's some upstart from S Dakota that has another year under his belt...
 
Brumback is always the favorite, but several others have what it takes, such as Alex, Shane, Morra, Pinegar, Hogue, Shuff and a few others.

Tough to pick against Brumback.
 
If it was full-rack, it would handicap better.
A lot of good players can win at short-rack....any good 1-hole player.
But John Brumback is the favorite, none-the-less.....
...but no one is a commanding favorite.

Shannon Daulton is another that is never out of any banking competition.

Justin Hall was phenomenal in the tournament that he won the master of table, unless the Brumback figures him out by now!!

Part of the fun is sticking your neck out there and offering an opinion.

If you're the only person who picks the winner of the bank division, just imagine how many rep points you'll get. :D

Ok, since you're new to the forum, you may not know what rep points are. They've lost some of their shine but I still like the comments that go with them. :)

No one in this thread thinks the Freezer is a tough out this year in banks? Seems like John B rates him pretty high in comments I have seen in the past. :D

Since SVB didn't win the banks last year, then I think he'll put all kinds of effort into winning it this year.

And if he doesn't win it, I'm thinking Justin Hall.

Gotta root for John, our hometown boy!

It would not surprise me nor would I take offense to Alex winning anything he enters though. He is an exciting and fun player to watch. Same for SVB.
