Who's going to Reno for the next IPT tournament

OK, I'll admit it, I want to see someone play a pool match for $500,000!

So I'm going to Reno next month for the last 3 days of the IPT tournament. I know a couple of you guys will be there, but thought I'd ask and see who else might come. BTW, my pool photographer buddy Mike Haines will also be there.
 
I got my finger on the button but i just cant seem to push it!. I dont travel as well as i used to. Still if i get one little more reason to go, I'll probably pull the trigger.

Edit-Damn i just went to look at flights again and the flight i wanted isnt even offered anymore and the next best one is up $700- Looks real unlikely unless this is some kinda error.

I hope you can find that cheaper flight again. Guess you've tried Travelocity and Price Line?

I will be there beginning Thursday. I will have a black Canon body with a cream-colored Canon 70-210 zoom, all mounted on a thick black monopod. I would love to meet both you and Bill.

They got me!!

I think they have software that tells who is looking at what flights-then suddenly they up the price like crazy and then bring it back down and you bite. I bit. Im there Wed-til finale.

I used Travelocity- I have never had any luck with Priceline ever. You save $4, you fly with at 1AM with 11 hour layovers and if you cant go, you are not getting one nickel back. Im not even exaggerating about the $4 either. Sometimes it is even more expensive with them.

I just tried to buy tickets at the IPT site (which was probably a sucker move on my part) but twice

"my transaction was not approved".

All im saying is that if i dont get in, there will be a scene, a big one.
 
I will be there till 9th of Sept. I will be staying in a hotel called the Atlantis Resort, but I have no idea how far I will be from the venue. I have never been to Reno before.:confused:

Well, at the Venetian event, they did sell tickets at the door.

Thanks for the reminder. I had my other reservations, but the ticket site was not up yet when I made them. No problem with approval.

I'll be there for the last match on Friday the 8th through Sunday.

an old guy with a beard who looks about 4 years older than my avatar, please introduce yourself. Bob, I've enjoyed your articles for years and would love to say hello.
 
Would love to go seeing how it's the closest IPT tournament to home for me, but as usual priorities are getting in the way:(

After 4 attempts today, it went through. Each time it tried to record my Country of residence as Albania which was a bit aggravating and then i added them to the "cookie list" in Mcafee and it finally went through..

If i was just a little more stupid, i would have thrown my computer out the window long ago.
