Max Eberle, Allison and Souquet.
Housestick said:Troy Frank and Nick Varner are good picks. How 'bout Buddy Hall. He usually seems pretty composed when i watch him. I would have to say that Efren is my top pick though. His middle name is composure....you can learn a lot watching that man play. Allison Fisher seems to remain relatively composed to. Haven't seen her play live but a few times though. Wish I could play like those guys...I'm a hot head..haha
Travis Bickle said:Among the others mentioned, I also like Archer. I remember this bit from the DCC ring game he won the year before last ... when it was down to just him and Parica and the bet was raised to 4,000 or whatever, he had this big smile on his face, pumped his fists, and said, let's go! Yeah, he slows down and drives you crazy, but he never seems to lose his focus.
Well, Sayginer is a little bit of a whiner. But I don't think the comparison with pool holds. That's because in 3C making a point is a little like a homerun in baseball. You're not expected to hit it every time you step up to the plate. In the words of Bob Byrne (and I paraphrase), in pool if you miss you're a dog.bruin70 said:allison fisher

actually, you don't find whiners in 3c

By da hawaian I imagine you're talking about either Pagualayan or Rodney (I hope the first). So which is it? Da "lil'" hawaian or da big hawaian?

And he looks the same weather its doing a pushout or a saftey or a kick shot.
Ortmann, and Souquet, probably rank right up there with Thorston
I agree, Souquet and Hohmann don't rattle. I
especially like the way Souquet sits in his
chair between racks...he sits very still and
stares at the ground like he's meditating.
You got that right. I seen him down I believe 8-2 racing to 11 vs mike sigel. He starts off not getting anything mike plays great on him and he is in the hole. He then claws his way back to a hill hill match. Plays a great safety on mike gets ball in hand runs the table too the 9 ball a easy shot in the side and he dogs it. No emotion nothing he just goes back to his chair. Mike then shoots and misses it also then nick pockets the cash along with the match. I heard also that nick believes anykind of complaining is a sign of weakness.sjm said:The most composed player over the table that I've ever watched is Nick Varner.
