No Doubt - Buddy (Not Even Close)
I have seen Buddy play 9-Ball better than ANYONE has ever played the game.
I have seen him as he progressed (19 years old) & "Snapped". I have seen him develop from a good player to a great player to THE BEST PLAYER. There never has been anyone who "MASTERED" 9-Ball but Buddy came the closest when he was playing in Shreveport for about a 3-year period. The physical aspect of his stroke was perfect and it was adaptable to the individual shot. He practiced for 12 hours every Thursday (no exceptions) and his mental aspect has never been duplicated. As good as Efren is today, Buddy would have "Put Him Asleep". Buddy's 9-Ball table vision & patterns were perfected to the point of making the game look easy. Buddy was the BEST and most BORING player to ever play 9-Ball. To this day, (I just watched him play at the DCC), I can learn more and play better after watching Buddy.
