Well said.The question is - do you just pass by information that you feel is completely inaccurate and may, in your opinion, hurt someone's pool game or do you comment on why you think it is BS.
I actually think passing by a thread you disagree with is doing the forum a disservice.
I just feel people have strong opinions on certain subjects and they are airing their opinion. If the forum had no emotion it would be a very boring place in IMHO.
Some people who can't handle criticism like to accuse others of "hating"...another misuse of an expression by today's grammatically-lazy society.
"You don't agree with me so you must be a hater!"
Just another example of how soft we have become. We want to express our opinions, but can't handle disagreement or contradiction...in other words...hearty and spirited debate!
I also think people who accuse others of being trolls over use that expression as well. Sometimes people are labeled as being troll-like because of the low number of posts, or because they say something that sparks a discussion and then are nowhere to be found.
Well, sometimes that behavior IS troll-esque, but other times we should appreciate that not all users want to post often, or they simply have more important things to do.
