By the same token, those who begin to single out a poster's words they choose to use in a post, this is also a mechanism for disagreeing with what the person is saying. If they can't reply with a comprehensive opinion that may differ from the poster, they then say the person's words they choose, e.g., "troll," "haters," et cetera, is overused.
You can't win on this forum. I contribute as much positive content to AzBilliards as I can possibly muster, and then there's one post that somebody takes issue with, and all of a sudden, I'm a [fill in the blank.] Nobody recognizes the good content I do try to provide. Rather, they can to take issue with, as an example, my stance on pro players. It's as if everything else I post here about is forgotten.
Forget the amount of times I've donated money to pool-related causes, members falling on hard times, players trying to compete in China, charity causes, pool education fund, et cetera, et cetera. It gets old.
And if you don't think there are multiple-identified banned posters on here posting on AzBilliards for the sole purpose of causing hurt and/or anger for their own personal entertainment, then you may not be reading this forum as much as I do. I can point out poster names today that have been banned and are still posting under another identity. In fact, not once, not twice, but a half-a-dozen different identities. For whatever reason, even though it's against this forum's stated rules, it continues to happen.
I love a spirited debate, but I don't care for having somebody single me out, slam me with curse words, call me a "groupie" at almost 60 years of age, et cetera, et cetera.
Yeah, it might be time for me to take another hiatus from this place, a permanent one. I really can't take the heat anymore, so it's time to get out of the kitchen. I really am trying to regain my enthusiasm for pool, but reading AzBilliards lately is a big downer.
I hope the moderators aren't putting their foot down for some peoples sake, because they will stop all the advertising posts they've been making.
Tag teaming I saw someone mention that in a post. A few seem to do that regularly. Usually with the same few people, that's why I noticed it, as I'm sure others have.
That might just happen as a result of the clicks or whatever you want to call them, that some people seem to need to form. For me just learning and sharing here on AZ Billiards is fine.
What amuses me, sort of anyway are the people who blatantly break the rules all the time and then accuse others of acting improper, to deflect
the focus away from themselves. Laughable but not that clever.
Smoke and mirrors may work in a magic show, however here in the forums on AZ such actions are very transparent and fool few.
Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions and by the way state them
in the forums, even if a handful of posters on the forums who think they're in charge, don't agree with them.
Having said that, it doesn't mean that if I post something I should expect
people not to disagree, make fun of, or even tell me they think my post is ridiculous. Others may feel different, however I feel when I post I should expect this may happen and be thick skinned enough to take it if it does.
Something that amuses me are the people who continually call others trolls or haters, not only because it sounds childish for a grown man or woman to say. It also reminds me of something one would might hear in grade school and equally, as transparent a way to try and control and
silence others opinions as when used in grade school.
Not as funny as in grade school because you expect kids to talk and act like that,
they're kids!
Lets put this thread back on the front page, since lots of people seemed to
have wanted it there before.

My God, I'm in a freakin' time warp. Help me JAM!
