That was pretty funny, which is what started this whole thing in the first place.
My comments had nothing to do with the topic, but important nonetheless.
You should be a shoe-in to get the next open spot in the main forum, just as soon as one becomes available.

So you're saying women don't like being looked at or women don't go to at a pool hall because we look at them. Most of the men at a pool hall where I play are over 50. I have yet to see anyone harass a woman and if they did in this day and age you'd have several men step up and put the offending person in their place. Pool halls have always been a men's club with exceptions.

My experience as well. Never witnessed any harassment in the hall I go to. Of course, if a good looking lady comes in. everybody looks. But the same guys will also ogle a nice '40 Ford coupe if it parks out front.

You couldn't be more right, my friend.
All joking aside, I have yet to see anything other than a genuinely gentleman like behavior from the guys I play with, or any of the others that I see hanging around the pool hall, I beg your pardon, sports bar and grill.
Where I come from we treat all women with respect, except those that are from eighteen to eighty, blind, crippled, or crazy. Those we whistle at, stomp the floor, or otherwise run over each other trying to get to.
But, not the other ones. :smile:

There actually may be an answer. Most men are so insecure about their own sexuality they have to show other men they are interested in women. You will even see it on here with some avatars. They have to show they like girls. It sounds goofy because you know you are not gay but you still feel the need to keep proving it.

I have been in pool rooms for over 55 years and I have to say, I have known a lot of pool players who I don't think have ever had sex. They seem to like then company of other men much better. Not in a gay way but certainly in a curious way.

For me it's a 58 Chevy. Big back sear and one of a kind design wise. I almost bought a 40 Ford coupe. My Father put the kibosh on that deal, $50 busks as is. I was 13 or 15 at the time. I could have put a motor in myself. Got a 48 Harley instead.

Tattoos used to be a sign of passage. Same thing with ear rings. I got tats so if I was blown up they could know who I was by certain body parts. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Fake boobs, I haven't a clue? Tats on women depending on where they are, are turn off.

How can we help but stare. Women are attractive and beautiful. I just hope they wear something low cut when they come to the poolroom. I was playing in a tournament and one of my matches was against a very pretty busty blond, who was wearing a very low cut v neck. We had the option of wrack your own or opponent wracking. Guess what I chose in that match with her?

Why does everyone think women can't play? Don't be stupid, there's just way less of them who play at all and therefore way less good ones. Come to the Pacific Northwest and give my girlfriend the 7 and the breaks and she'll rob you.
