Why don't many members fill in thier "about me" information?

Well, SLIM, sometimes embarassment is the reason. Several are in prison. Others are in mental institutions. Some are in the witness protection program. I know of a couple who are on life support, and many just can't spell worth a damn. I hope that cleared up some of the confusion.
I don't fill mine in so I can randomly talk shit and lie about how good I play!

because in todays world with identity theft and the like.. only complete newbies or the tech-ignorant post personal information on the open public internet..
I'm not too worried about the members of the forum.. it's the other 3 billion people on the internet that might be a problem.
that or the crawler bots that scour the internet for personal info to be used for god knows what purpose.
most people who want my personal info .. can get it by shooting me a PM and I'll respond with an e-mail addy

Anyone can have my info if they want it. Go ahead, steal my identity and while you're at it, steal my credit card payments too.
Slim people are afraid of Stalkers who terrorize people from their key boards. Now I don't know how long you have been a member but, some of the situations I have seen on this site ( A pretty well policed one ) were peoples Police records have been posted. Even worst than that people have been sent threats by phone to their homes.
I think some people just take things way to seriously, so I don't blame anyone for staying as transparent as possible.

Bruce, I had a rabbit named Bruce. I really liked him. Once upon a time I had a bunch of
Masters chalk someone had given me for free and I was going to sell it in the bar for extra money. Bruce chewed up my chalk so we made him into rabbit stew. I guess that was pool karma and rabbit karma for Bruce. The stew was blue but tasted pretty good.
Maybe sometime you can send me some green Masters Bruce because my rabbit ate all mine.

on a completely unrelated note i've decided to run a 10K. i've also decided that by this time next year i'm going to make it my goal to be able to do over 30 pull ups
