Why no DCC this year?

No DCC? Crap! I got a hotel room. bought two reserved seats, booked round trip airfare to Louisville, and sent some sponsorship money to Diamond for the 14.1 challenge. Diamond Billiards has sold player entries and reserved seats, clearly unethical assuming there is no DCC this year.

On the other hand, maybe you just have no idea what you're talking about.
 
To be fair SJ, the OP was asking a question and not making a statement.

He then posted that it was his fault for not using Google properly.

I have always enjoyed reading your insights on pool etc, and will continue to do so, but,
your reply to him came off just a tad arrogant and condescending.

No wonder at times that people stop trying to fit in around here if they get jumped so easily.

See, we don't generally do that right off the hop over in NPR.
 
It actually use to be on the WPA Calendar. I just noticed it missing this year but i could be a year or two late. I have no idea what level of WPA approval was signified by that when it was listed..

I wondered that myself Allen, as SJ usually gets to the point but I don't remember him being mean to posters on purpose.

Apologies to the OP, but I must take exception to the title of the thread, which implied inside knowledge that the DCC might not take place. I've been around long enough to see many events cancelled very late in the going.

A better title would have been "Is there a DCC this year and, if so, when?" That thread title would have met with greater sensitivity on my part. Still, I'll be more careful the next time a poster offers a misleading thread title.
