As far as the guy that just beat a lot of champs in the bar box tourney in Gulfport. Who is this Will Pay & where is he from? I've never heard of him before. He must be pretty strong to compete in this field! Did he play in any other events and does anyone know what his best game is? Why no pics?

He put me out of the big table 9-ball. In that match he missed 1 (one) ball. He also only missed shaped once. On a tight diamond. The guy can PLAY!

I got the line on him after the match. His real name is Billy Peyton from Kentucky. From what I gather he doesn't normally play tournaments, just gambles.

Jamie Farrel said "This guy should be called Will Bank!" after playing him in the bank pool.

OHB,
Let me get this straight, are you asking us to "out" this guy and "knock" his action??

Let's see, from Kentucky and plays "Banks"? Sounds logical to me.

Never A Knocker!

I was not asking anyone to knock anyone. I simply was wondering if this might be some new young star coming up. I was thinking of asking him for his autograph. I had just never heard of the name before and the double intendre in his name had me curious.

As far as "Williebetmore" - Just Remember - JESUS LOVES YOU!
Of course everyone else thinks you’re an asshole!

If your name is a question - the answer is YES - Wanna play some ???

OHB,
Now, now, now; don't get testy, I was just remembering some of your posts on another thread (you didn't seem to have a very high opinion of the "knockers"). I think the majority of us are also interested in players of his caliber, and I certainly have never been adverse to discussing the caliber of players on the internet.

As for my name, geez, I can hardly play at all (was using the rubber bumper end of the cue until a week or 2 ago); but if I'm passing through on the gambling trail I'll certainly look you up. Sounds like I'll probably regret it, but you can't win if you don't play.

P.S. - Not everyone thinks I'm an #$%#$#$#, some think I'm worse. :) :) My dog likes me if I remember to feed him.

He is a very strong player. He was stringing rack around rack when he was playing the black guy for third. However, when he was playing Nat in the finals of the bar tables, he was down 6-5 and missed an pretty easy 8, but lucked it and went on to win. If it wouldn't have been for the lucked 8, he probably would have lost.

Hey, we are pretty close!

In a way - I was just kidding - BUT - I live in St. Louis & you are in Indy - SO - Why not meet in Terre Haute and "Get It On"?

Now we all know I'm an Old Has Been BUT I, (as You) have had some time to accumulate some assets and I can't think of a more worthy investment than to wager a meek sum on an endeavor that is so close to my heart.
I think this would be exciting & interesting if we were to meet & play (say a set or 2, 3 or 4 of 9 Ball, One Pocket, Banks, Straight Pool, 8 Ball, etc.) for the meager sum of $500 OR MORE!
WHAT SAY YOU?

PS - Your dog would like me - If I were to feed him!

Hey Tom, may I have the pleasure of backing you. I do not know if your game is as it use to be, but i'm willing to wager you can still hold a cue. :)

ACTION!!!!!!!!! ,,,, I do love it. Willie, he is allready giving you the best of it. I just did the math. It's 246 miles from you to him and only 78 from you to Terre Haute. Now,,,,,,,, What game are we playing first? Damn,,,,,,,,I love action.

Terre Haute?

I hope you all do come and play some in Terre Haute seeing as how i live there. I don't play all that well but i sure love to match up and gamble, maybe i can join in on the festivities? We also have a snooker table if you guys wanna play a liability game for something.

By the way, Billy Pay is a good player from Louisville, and it's tough to knock a guy that anybody who knows anything already knows who he is. Tom, he's been to the break, i know you know him.

Hope to see some action over here soon boys, now don't do all that chirpping for nothing:) Nothing worse than "all sweaters and no betters".

Cheers

OHB- We've got to get together sometime! I'm curious to see that "project" you've been working on. I'd love to just set back and listen to stories, while we smacked some balls around the table of course!
Have a Happy Holiday Season my friend!

"Will Pay" or Cecil is a true road player. He is a hustler in every sense of the word. He came through Ohio about a year ago and beat quite a few strong players. He beat Eric Durbin in Cincy getting the last two (he didn't need it) out of 2 dimes. Then he came to Canton and beat Chris Szuter out of 5 dimes on his own table (which is no easy task) Cecil hangs around another under the radar player named Cowboy. The both play pro speed but do not let anyone take there pictures and have been traveling for quite a while. Cecil prefers to bet on proposition shots and nine ball or bank pool. When the cash is posted not too many players will like the action.
