Watching Albin Ouschan yesterday, I wonder what happened to him. He has not been the same since he lost to Jayson Shaw in the Hanoi Open final in 2024. The WPA-WNT spat happened shortly after, and like Filler, he reneged on his commitment to not play in WPA events. He apologized in a sincere manner, but was stung by criticism.

Since then he has been quieter and more lowkey. Shows more negative vibes, almost like he is depressed. I wonder if he even want to keep playing pro. Sometimes he seems like he wants to be doing something else. He also skips more events.

It’s too bad. He’s still young and in great shape. Just seems like all his fire is gone. With his sister, it’s the opposite.

Thirteen of the final 16 players are in the top 100 of Fargo. We started out with 43. The only ones who aren’t are Ivanovski (740), Styer (791) and Georgiev (784).

Also, 23 of the top 100 Fargos made it to the final 32.

I’d be happy with Hohmann playing on Team USA. Maybe the team needs a serious, more mature guy like him. He’s lived 23 of his 47 years in the U.S. Lot of work to become a citizen of this great country.

A team of `Hohmann, SVB, Gorst, Styer and Bergman would suit me fine.

Manas is maybe the most natural young player I have ever seen.

that's probably wu jiaqing for me. filler and shaw is up there too. i love watching manas. flowing like water, no unnecessary pauses, no overthinking.
