WNT Florida Open: New Cloth Color?

I'm not sure if this is a joke or if it's for real. Emily Frazer posted this photo on Facebook about a change coming to the WNT Florida Open TV table. Is this Flamingo pink cloth replacing the Shark grey?

If it's Simmonis, it's dusty pink. It's actually kind of nice to play on.
That being said...can we just agree to go back to green.
What's with changing the ball and cloth colors all the time?
Stupid
I’ll never understand why Blue became the color. I’ve heard all the theories that are quantifiably untrue. Green is far and away the most aesthetically pleasing and takes more abuse from patrons too. Blue looks “good” for like 3 days maybe.

BRING BACK GREEN

I hated the grey when watching on TV. However, I played on grey cloth on a Rasson table last week and liked the contrast against the Aramith Black ball set.

I'm not offended by this pink, if its not a joke. A Florida tournament is the ideal time to introduce such a colour (I believe there used to be pink on Miami Heat's NBA alternate jersey).

All that said, its another vote for green here.

The CPBA Royal Apex(new WNT rug) doesn't come in this funky ass pink. They do make the regular Royal in pink. Hope its a Florida joke.

Respectfully disagree. Tournament blue was chosen after a scientific study of colors and contrast. Not an accident that the US Open Tennis tournament surface is practically the same color.
Its mostly for tv/streaming in both games. The contrast with blue is way better for video.

I'll have to see it in action first to judge. I'm a big fan of the grey. Best color for contrast with all the balls.

same. i love playing on grey. on tv i think blue looks better, but to play on grey is really nice.

the one in OP looks apricot colored. do they grow apricots in florida?

I'll arrive at the Florida Open on Tuesday afternoon and I'm staying until the event is over. I hope any AZBers in attendance that I've yet to meet will introduce themselves.

I guess I'm the oddball as I've never cared for green cloth even though that's been the on pretty much every table I've played on . I like the looks of the blue and grey and liked the blue table I played on . That pink doesn’t look too bad, don't think I would pick it but it isn't horrible.
