Doesn't look like Matchroom is gonna pay out the promised $3.5m in prize money this year. Unless they count payouts from Derby City Classic (and other WNT non major events) into that which would be a scummy thing to do.
 
INTERNATIONAL OPEN, St. Augustine, FL....

Is that the same International Open that was previously held in Norfolk, VA and produced by Pat Fleming and Accu Status just in a new location? Or is this a different tournament altogether, am wondering. Sad to see that tournament not in Norfolk this year. Oh well.

Thinking same thing. If true my WAG is that they want it close to the MC site the following week.

Few big ones-Spanish Open, Hanoi Open, WCOP not in that schedule yet . Hanoi Open should be confirmed as Emily in Vietnam putting it together. WCOP usually before middle of year and so far no news year and may be too late to put together such a big team event. Really hope they don't cancel this favorite event this year.
If Hanoi Open is on, ranking event Peri Open should be on also.
One of biggest ranking event of last year Sharks is likely off this year as Sharks Billiards stopped operating this year and now morphing into some team Professional Billiard league under new name Sharks Billiards Association. They will start with 4 teams.
Hmmm sounds like the infamous PBL Bonus Ball :ROFLMAO:
 
That is awesome if Fleming's Open will be here in St Aug. Quick generic search appears to show it over at the old World Golf Village. That is about the only place I could see able to host it in "St Augustine".
 
I'm very pro Emily, however, this events on this list mostly existed before WNT. Where are all the new events?

Well, I'd say she gets credit for all the open Matchroom-run events, even if they have existed for a while. I think there are at least four new events on the calendar. But the main point is that there is what looks like a real, organized, global tour for the first time in pool history.

Yes, that is the venue. Pat is excited about the additional space available at the venue.

I know it may look that way, but I know Mosconi Cup had nothing to do with this move. Pat was in discussions with this new venue before anyone had heard about the Mosconi Cup move.
