I think it’s a wonderful idea. Ra Hanna has been promoting junior pool for years. There is definitely an interest from the younger players.

I’d love to see this happen.

Great move imo. There needs to be avenues for younger players. Something like AAA baseball style pool in the US would be awesome. This is where Brunswick could really pump their brand up if they got involved in a pool farm-system.

The only sad news in this thread is the lack of support from the AZ members for this endeavor.

If there is no avenue for bringing in the next generation of pool players pool has little chance to survive.

If it were not for pool leagues pool would already be dead. They are the reason most pool rooms have survived to this day.

As a group that loves pool surely giving young folks a reason to play can only be good for everyone that enjoys this sport!

The kids are the only thing to keep any sport/game alive. Promoting, supporting and advancing their passion is great for the game.

Good on you Matchroom, I hope this makes a difference. Young people would love the game if presented correctly. I have seen it and done it.
