World Class 3C Starting Now!

I don't know what you guys see in these players. I watched a little bit, but no one ever pocketed a single ball while I was viewing.

39-31 Jaspers with Blomdahl averaging a shade under 2.0 and Jaspers shooting a crispy 2.6 so far.

Still, I'm watching pgatour golf on the internet instead, and it streams 20x better than the 3-C.

Interestingly, the "Pocketless Pool" video clip was taken from an earlier round of this same tournament.

I couldn't get the video to sync up for more than a minute or so at a time, but I did follow the live scoring at the bottom. The key innings were early in the match. In the fifth inning with Blomdahl leading 10-8, Jaspers ran a 6. Blomdahl came back in the sixth inning with an 11, and Jaspers answered with a 7 -- 21-21 after six innings. In the seventh inning Blomdahl missed, and Jaspers ran 9 -- 21-30 after seven. That gap stayed about the same for the rest of the match. Final 39-50 (Jaspers winning) in 19 innings.

Looks like Jaspers won 50-39 with an average of 2.632 for the finals.

Blomdalh shoots around 2.0 and gets beat soundly. Since I'm probably around 0.5 to 0.6 overall, I guess I would lose somewhere around 50-9 if I played Jaspers.

BAH!!! I totally missed it! My luck would have it that I get online just when it ends.

PSH!

I'm a saaaaaaaad pandaaaaaa... :frown:

Always like watching Blomdahl... even if he loses.

There is a player named Eddy Merckx who played in this event. The same name as the champion bicycle racer from the 70's and 80's. Is this his son?

I don't thnk so

Hey Jay, Eddie The Animal I got an autographed pic from Eddie at a show back in the 80's. Great guy and still rides from what I hear. Your question has been asked before and to my recollection he is no realtion, his Dad was a fan Of Eddie's and named his son in his honor. That is the way I remember it anyway..

I heard the same story from Semih Sayginer....but he had it second hand as well. Probably true, but it would be nice to hear from a primary source.
