World Cup of Pool 2014(Portsmouth, UK) 23-28Sep (9ball Scotch Doubles) Winner $60K

WTH. Jim says, "He overhit this," and then the 3 ball ends up perfect. Everybody is against Earl, right from the get.

Jim says, "That could have been a lot better," after Earl shoots. Shane asks for an extension. OMG! 8 and 9 left on the table. Come on, Shane!

Personally that is why I liked Bonus Ball: it forced players to play the weirdest shots. The nature of the game (playing a longest run and more aspects) made players try extreme shots.

In 9ball very economic play is just effective, unfortunatly. I also prefer players who play more intuitively and who try certain shots more often.

What a great break from Shane. Earl makes a tough 2, and leaves Shane in the jaws of the side pocket to go for a kick-shot on the 3. Wow!

Shane overspun it, trying to kick the 3, and scratches. Ball in hand for the Brits. Darren at the table.

Karl pockets the 4. Darren looking at a fairly easy shot on the 5.

There are 10 U.S. Open titles at this table. Earl with 5, Shane with 3, and Earl with 2.

Darren pockets the 8 in the side, and now Karl makes the 9 in the corner. 1 to 1.

They keep talking bad about Earl. Starting to piss me off.

Stupid joke, Phil. Earl from the "tarheel state" and wants to show England some "clean heels."

Jim said he couldn't make a bet on this match because he felt it was not a good bet. Intersting!

England is snookered. They push out. Earl and Shane studying the shot. They give it back to England.
