Archer was definitely the weak link in their first match, but Shane was the weaker link in the Japan match. Defense and kicking were the downfall of Team USA in this event, especially in the double hill rack vs Japan.
 
Taipei leads 8-3 and can smell the finish line. A brilliant kick by JL Chang, who been absolutely brilliant, has left England A snookered.
 
The Philippines vs Chinese Taipei - this could already be the finals match.
 
Taipei advances with a 9-3 victory. This was really no contest.

According to livesport.tv, the first semi will begin at 8:00 AM Eastern time (1:00 PM, UK time) , followed immediately by the second semifinal. The final is scheduled to be at 1:00 PM Eastern time (6:00 PM, UK time).

I really hope I'm wrong but their afternoon schedule for tomorrow says that the World Cup of Pool is from 3:30 to 4:30 pm (London) only,
and not the usual 2 and a half hour of broadcast that starts at 1 pm. We might miss the first semifinal match.

We're good when it comes to the evening session for the finals though...

Cant watch today :( must admit that the Dutch team werent the best this tournament, although they did play solid and played some great shots. And they had a relatively easy route sofar. Not very high seeded teams.
