Would a 1cm wide crack in a butt below the wrap affect the hit of a cue?

Thanks for your reply. 1cm was just a guess (it may not be that big of a crack, but the crack does appear to be into the wood). I have added a picture of the crack. Thanks.

If you are going to sell it..... do not try to fix it.... it is worth more as it is............ someone will see it;s value even if it is less than perfect.....

If you are going to use it as a player......... fill the crack with black epoxy.

Who is the cuemaker on the 2nd cue from the left side in your picture and is it for sale?

There two cues left of the Huebler are early 90's Ernie Martinez cues, and the two right of the Huebler are Jensen's.

Every cue I own is for sale, all 150 of them (or so), I am unofficially retired.
Homeless people make more money than I do.
The Ernie Martinez left of the Huebler is the 9th cue he made after leaving Showcase with a numbered pin> 9-95.

Peace

Chuck the homeless guy had more income then you for awhile.
You should have collected Chinese cues. That's where the market is today.
Jensen-,Martinez,Rambo,Palmer Schon-what were you thinking?

My electronic store cue came with a tracking chip installed. so if it ever gets stolen I can track it down using my cell phone.
The only problem is that the location comes up in Chinese on my phone!

I'm just surprised that you didn't call up Ultimate Electronics and complain about the electronic tracking chip messing up your stroke>>:bash:

Muscles are controlled my electric impulses from our brain. The small electronic signal from the chip interacts with these impulses and smooths my stroke out.
People have said that my stroke is a work of art in motion.
Back in Jersey they called my stroke the Michelangelo.
And yes Ted I am sober.

I would not go any further with that cue ...not worth the effort to get it fixed....just my two cents worth....Keep looking for what you want, not what they offer
