Would anyone mind posting a video demonstrating CTE?

I would like to test this system. Is there anyone here who knows it that could make a quick video demonstrating it?

You will not find anyone on here to post a video of it on here,I dont know where you live but your best bet is to find someone who uses it and see them in person. That my friend is the only way I know of.Spidey has a video on his site with him running 49 balls using CTE.

I am very interested in CTE. I am not a flamer.

It is impressive how Spidey and John Barton so breezily make a variety of shots using CTE. And, I especially appreciate all the effort they have done to try to explain the system.

But the laws of physics demand that when the CB contacts the OB, the CB must be in the ghost ball position (plus or minus). So, no matter how you get to the GB position, the CB must be there at contact, or the shot won't go. I think everyone on this forum will agree with that.

CTE seems to ignore where the pocket is located, other then generally saying it is to the left or right of the OB. Since it ignores the direction line to the pocket, it does not consciously seek the exact GB position.

I cannot reconcile how CTE can get you to the GB position for any shot on the table, unless there is an unconscious mental adjustment going on.

There is something I am missing. Something that defies the english language.

Maybe I didn't get enough sleep, but I laughed my ass off when I read that. Congrats on your confession:D

There are a lot of CTE players scattered across the states,if you state where you live and it is close enough, you can learn it in person. That is the best option. You will not get far on a public forum, that I promise.

If you google search, <<<<---- (linked) hal houle point and pivot system, you will find information to LEARN ABOUT CTE. If you wish to LEARN CTE it must be done on the Pool TABLE IMHO.

It has been reported that a technical document will be released soon which defines the physics and math behind how CTE works.

Also a video is in the works by Stan Shuffet who teaches a modified version of CTE called PRO1.

There is plenty of discussion on AZ, RSB, and other forums about CTE.

I have a study group here where we are discussing it amongst those who want to learn it without the conversation being derailed.

As Peteypooldude said the best way right now is to be shown by someone who knows it. There is another thread that someone started which is asking for people who know it to list their locations. Perhaps you could list your location as someone who wants to learn and if someone is close enough to you they can let you know that.

How do you go about guessing where the GB is? CTE gives you definite aim lines, something that is actually there. Something you can actually look at.

How do you find the video of Spidey running the 49 balls. I have not been able to locate it.

Where you see a post by by spidey it will have a blog spot,I believe that is where it is located.I dont know how beneficial it will be,because he is just practicing and not actually trying to show the method Peteypooldude

AFTER spidey releases his documents and if he gives me the ok,I will probably start teaching it in Myrtle Beach, but I would never jump the gun on dave..aka Spidey
