Would you call this great condition?

nicks or scratches

Ah, but it was described as GREAT condition. No mention of nicks or scratches or anything else. The seller, again who appears to be a great guy, admitted he missed the nick. Thus, he would have advertised the nick if he had noticed it. Thus, again, no mistakes on the part of the buyer. None. The seller admitted he missed it.

I assume I'm buying a cue as described. But hey, if folks expect less not more from sellers, great. I don't.

There is no nicks or scratches you have know idea what your talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP,
You had a choice. You accepted the cue.You let a 14 year old decide what to do next. Now you are stuck defending that decision.Suck it up.At this point YOU are the problem.Stop blaming others for your screw up.You had a choice. Now go ask the kid what to do next.smdh.

The big issue is, Why is he being allowed to run my name thru the mud?

Your name is doing just fine. In fact threads like this do you a big favor. All those like the OP who read it will also not do business with you. And they will not be missed.

I wish I could come up with a good douche tits repellent like this for my business.

'Great' is a subjective description.

You think this is "great", I wonder how many people would agree with you, I personally don't.

Run your name through the mud, are you kidding????? roflmao
You run your own name through the mud selling cues without taking 5 minutes to look them over, OP just brought up the issue, he didn't list the cue as great, you did!

The fact you think OP is dragging your name through the mud by simply bringing up a valid issue he had with your listing, well damn....

Ebay's definition of used...

Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended.

I’m fine with my decision. I’m only responding when people address me.

I’ve done my best to warn people of what to expect when dealing with Greg on eBay.

Hopefully this issue will either make Greg change his ways, or at least warn off someone else who could be the next chump he screws over.

'Great' is a subjective description. If it said, 'no scratches', or 'perfect finish', then I would agree with you.

Or if it has said, one small nick on butt, see enclosed photo. The seller admitted he missed it and would have put that in ad if he saw it. He didn't. Thus, his fault, not the buyer. I can't believe folks can defend the indefensible.

go look at the good sellers in AZB "for sale" they will show you the photo of any nick or scratch and will put that in their description? Why do you suppose they do that?

There is an unfounded assumption that had the issue with butt sleeve been mentioned that the bidding would have been lower. That is only an assumption.

Final bid prices on eBay are like a roller coaster. One week a cue sells for under market and the next week it sells for some crazy amount, or doesn't sell at all. This is why fixed price listings with a Make Offer option have become so popular.

Attached is a beautiful cue I acquired from Greg Howard earlier in the year. The cue needed to be refinished but I knew that. The cost to have the butt and both shafts refinished and and the cue rewrapped was a total cost of $165 by a shop well-known to those who frequent the billiards forums.

OP,
If you want to get well, repeat this phrase 10 times every hour until it sinks the hell in,
"This is all my fault,I should have returned the cue"

OP, send me your paid receipt for the refinish of the butt. I will reimburse you up to $75. Tell your kid the seller made good. Why have his first experience dealing with pool folks be a bad one. Please send the paid invoice below. It's a done deal.

I feel you miss the whole point here. Even had I returned it, it does not excuse the deliberate misrepresentation of the cue condition to drive the auction price higher.

Nice gesture but the OP isn't going to get anything refinished. He just wants to get the cue for less money. If I see a paid receipt for a refinish (with pics),I will apologize.Until then, this guy is a NIT!

I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars from major cue companies on new cues with worse defects than this buyer got and I've never came on a social internet system and cried like this buyer.

I've dealt with it in private and it was my business and the company's business.

I still deal with the same cue manufacturers today even though they all sent me garbage at one time or another. Just stop crying over one Ebay deal.

With over 50 comments on Facebook and now on AZBilliards, seems you have too much time to cry. Someone needs to give you a huge pacifier.

You didn't warn us of a bad seller but you did warn us of a bad buyer that likes to cry.

Hmmm. A scam artist might give an unscrupulous repairman $25 for a bogus receipt or offer to split the booty, ($75.00). Not unheard of!

Thankfully I don’t have Facebook or Twatter and have to read it twice! If this is all the OP has to gripe about then congrats you’ve beaten life, Lol.

Very nice, but I wouldn’t accept a dime from anyone to make this right after all this. I’ll be dropping the cue off at ricks shop this weekend and I’ll pay whatever it costs to repair it.

I will post pics after the cue is repaired. So some of the sad integrity lacking people in this world can see what great condition is supposed to look like.

He refused the refund too.Can you say, retarded man baby?

What's your eBay screen name?I need it for my,"blocked bidders list" [/COLOR]
