Would you like to go on the road for 2 weeks with Archer and Varner?

Here is something we have been playing around with for a while and I would like to get some opinions as I have been asked about this before.

Late April we will be heading to the West Coast again and going from San Diego and stopping in L.A, San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Medford, Or, Portland, Or and ending in Tacoma, Wa. This is all part of the Legends and Champions Pool Tour. At Easch stop Johnny Archer and Nick Varner will be performing a exhibition and at least one pool school.

This is not 100% on yet and this is why I am getting opinions. We would ask due to the space that the person coming on the road would rent a RV to travel in. We will all share the cost of gas and you hotel would be everyman for himself.

A rare view of live on the road with two of the greatest ever. The trips are alot of fun but can be tiring due to late nights with exhibitions and travel.

Please let me know your thoughts,

So you'd want the individual to rent an RV for you all to travel in for the duration? I'd rethink that and rent the RV yourself. That way, you're not beholden to whoever it is in case they go ballistic and decide to take their RV and scoot, leaving you guys behind wherever you might be at the time. You're also setting yourself up for bad news in case this other person's RV breaks down. Who knows what condition the RV they rented would be in?

If I were you, I'd make a plan on the duration of this trip - starting/ending dates and locations - and check on RV rentals for that timeframe yourself, with the idea that you could sign a rental contract only if you get someone interested/committed. And obviously charge a price that helps cover the RV costs (which you wouldn't have to worry about if the customer was doing the renting, I imagine that's why you pitched it that way to begin with).

Are you charging the person to go with you guys for the 2 weeks? I think most people who have a job won't be able to get that time off and the people without jobs might not be able to afford it. JMO

I know it would be something I would love to do but I wouldn't be able to get the 2 weeks off and I probably couldn't afford it... haha

Just wondering.....

If you rent an RV what would be the need for a hotel? I wish my dad still had his 35 footer. I would be in.

Have you had any takers yet?

I agree with alot of what you said below. This has not been thought all the way through yet and so I was just looking to see if there was a interest. I know there is some because I have spoken to a couple of people who asked about it. Thank you for the caution notice and I will be sure to protect us all around. That is if we even do it. It seems like it would be a chance for a Johnny or Nick fan to maybe get a chance of a lifetime opportunity,

Not really charging anything. You see I can take my wife's mini van and that would cover the three of us. If we were to add anyone that would required renting a rv IMO. Therefore I ask them to cover the RV rental. If it turns out that people can't get the time off or can't afford an RV then hey at least I looked into it. We will be in the mini van.

Oh and BVal, no takers but not really asking for takers just the interest level and opinions. I have had a response however it was from a female and unfortunatly we will not be able to take a female, we are all happy married men.
Someone said no need for a hotel also, well the RV is for traveling comfortably we like to stay in hotels not all in a RV.
This is not a moneymaking venture with the road trip just something that might be fun for someone.

Maybe the RV idea is overkill. If you guys are tripping around in a mini-van, then maybe a more spacious van is all you really need to add a fourth warm body to the mix. *shrug*

And as far as "who can afford to take two weeks off work" - retired folks. :P
