Now, people, we don't want Billy Jay killing himself...
He ought to be happy, maybe this will mean Allison won't make it to the TV rounds. That would be good because like Mr. Troter said....people who play pool on TV are stupid.

MAYBE IF WE TYPE IN ALL CAPS HE WON'T UNDERSTAND US LOL

I just spoke with Pam and she says Sarah Ellerby had her 5-1, but she fought back from behind to win 9-7. She just beat Ewa Lawrence 9-6. She had Ewa 8-3 and then she won three in a row before Pam put the seal on it.

She just turned 18 two days ago, so it is a great birthday present! Great going, Pamela! Jeanette Lee is next, tomorrow night at 10 PM.

Night ramblings by Voodoo Daddy

Got to the room after lunch with Fran Crimi, watched Sarah Rousy win her match over Maureen Seto...wasnt too interested in those matches after that. Went to the casino and proceded to blow a small sum in the casino and waited for the 6PM matches. Monica Webb played a pretty sporty match, so did Jennifer Baretta. Sarah disappeared and didnt see her again...I was impressed with the young Pam Treadwell, very focused. The Melissa's...Little and Herndon are both fun to watch. Until tommorow, not much more to say

WHAT!!!! You are not watching the Rousey v. Tornado match??? I was hoping for an update!!!! LOL, oh well...have fun. ;)

Wow! Both Alison and Karen sent to the losers side in the 2nd round, I know that has never happened before. This should make the tournament a whole lot more interesting. The only ones that suffer now are the ones that catch Alison and Karen on the losers side.

Hey everyone,

What a funky tournament...and I do mean funky in a great way. Alot of the top players have been sent to the left side of the board.

Allison vs. Melissa Little...From what I saw Melissa played great and Allison made some uncharacteristic mistakes...she is human after all.

Karen vs. Kim White...I didn't see too much of this match because I was playing at the same time. Karen commented after the match that Kim played great. I know the last game was tough. I heard Karen made an unbelievable shot on the 8 and missed a bank on the nine when the score was 8-8.

Mayuki vs. Helena...I have no idea what happened because it was also going on at the same time as my match.

Julie Kelly vs. Romana...I also have no idea because I was playing.

Vivian vs. Me...I played pretty good. I jumped out to a 3-0 lead and then made some careless mistakes at the end of the rack 3 games in a row. I was then down 4-3 then up 8-4. I finally finished the match out at 9-5. I play Kelly Fisher tomorrow at 8pm.

Pam Treadway is having a great tournament so far. She plays Jeanette tomorrow night. It should be a good match. Jeanette had a nailbiter first round against the other youngster in the tournament Anna Kostanian. Anna showed alot of heart being down 7-3 and coming back 7-7. Unfortunately she missed the 8ball to go up 8-7. She played very well though and should be very proud.

Voodoo...my apologies for disappearing without saying hello. I saw you I just didn't get a chance. I went to the room to lay down for a bit after my match. I wasn't feeling great and I wanted to be ready for my match against Vivian. I hope to see you tomorrow.

Take care everyone,
Sarah

Man! You are tellin' stories like me now...just spit it out...my heart can't take suspense these days! I like Kelly Fisher, BUT she already won a tourney.........so send her over too. :D Your name is written all over this!!! All you gotta do is sign.

Oh yeah, before I forget...where for art thou Alice Rim??? I have been blind before, but I checked 3 times....

Three looks at the brackets won't be enough to find Jennifer Chen, either.

That is SOOOOO awesome! I'm glad she's keeping in touch with you guys. Please tell her I said Happy belated B-day and to keep on shooting lights out! LOL, you'd think I was related to her, I'm so proud of her! :p

How about this young lady; she gave Jeanette all that she could handle. This girl is the real deal; two years ago she played in the U.S. Open and beat Megan Minerich, Fran Crimi and won four games against Karen Corr. At seventeen-years-old I think she is a rising star. :)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that Jennifer Chen isn't here. I guess she got food poisoning and was staying in Taiwan. Alice Rim isn't here either. Two other girls also unexpectedly didn't show up...Naomi Williams and Stacy Lanz. That is why there were two forfiets.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Anna will beat Jennifer Barretta in her next match.

I think you're right, she is the real deal. I need to get down to Albuquerque and watch her play some.
